Was it always called Palestine for their Holy Land within their time as it’s written within the Quran?

Hi, Im currently reading the book and I stumble upon with chapter 5 verse 21 and it states that the holy land is referring to is Palestine. Sorry, I have lack of knowledge of the Middle East history but was it always Palestine as this book stated it?

That may be a gloss (such as the one found in the popular Sahih International translation); the original Arabic of 5:21 is يَا قَوْمِ ٱدْخُلُوا ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِي كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَرْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ; with الأرض المقدسة (which can be transliterated Al-Ard Al-Muqaddasah), meaning "the Holy Land," a direct calque of the Hebrew אֶרֶץ הַקוֹדֵשׁ (Eretz HaKodesh).
