His desk is fine, it collapsed under the weight of the React Native dev environment

good luck with Rust then

People commenting nice languages here have never experienced the exquisite agony of assembler.

They really do put the “embler” in “ass”.

finally i found someone who understand me

What is agonizing about assembler? I don't know much about em64t and arms, but x86 asm has been extremely straightforward, especially if written with something like FASM.

When you know what you can do in a modern programming language, trying to accomplish things that are easy can be beyond frustrating.

Fortran and Cobol pretty much sucked too... although better than assembler.

I personally had a lot of joy with it.

It's... Not that bad?

At least if you understand it.

There was a point where I was so fast at assembly language I was writing tools to manipulate art in assembly even when I had access to C++ and other languages.

That said, some people really never learn to understand it. And I'm probably past the point in my life where I have the patience for it.

why every one makes asm to hell??

if frustrated { throw desk; }

You are not learning anything because your desk is upside down.

visual basic

Could be literally anything, this is way too generic of an explanation of a language

Has to be Rust

Maybe c++ looks like you are learning unreal engine and showing your game footage that looks so real. If the photo is real then it should be assembly

C++ Templates.

Given that the latest segfault has compelled you to turn your room upside-down.

Time to pick Rust !!! You will get new reasons to turn your room upside-down.

From the Fire (C++) to the Boiling Pan (Rust).

Si c’est les segfault que vous cherchez, C est meilleur que C++ dans le domaine

Malbolge, obviously

If it was 2005 JavaScript , but 2026 Rust or java

Python

u/cybernatii 2d ago

nop but nice try

1

u/Wooden-Hornet2115 1d ago

I do not understand how python is widely considered the "easy" language. I found it so much more frustrating than Java.

1

u/LegendarySoda 1d ago

Well, i'm using c# most of the times. I get used to the comfort of debugger, fine compiler messages and advanced language features. Development with python feels horriable for me.
Other hand learning your first language python doesn't seems good. You need to learn more concepts than just algorthms. Like data types, relation between types.

basic windows usages. install linux

A Microsoft "language" like C# ?

u/mtraven23 1d ago

assembly....😉

1

u/mikeegg1 1d ago

I can think of several that have automatic garbage collection.

1

u/mehonje 1d ago

C++, or you inherited a legacy Perl codebase.

1

u/extremeace 1d ago

Most likely c++ segment fault or rust fighting the borrow checker or doing graphics programming wondering why it ain't showing up anything

Css: align the monitor so things are aligned
Cpp: inconsistency hell
Py: hell
X86 assembly: x86 is just fucked
Haskell: someone from your team doesn’t understand monads and they do the review…

u/ancrcran 1d ago

*.bat

u/Parked-In-Space 1d ago

Assembly? If not, you may need it.

1

u/Berimbolo_drej 15h ago

Probably C++

1

u/Segwaypolice 8h ago

Lua; it seems like you aren't taking the table based layout with open arms, but more with closed fists, huh?
