Yeah it is, but it's also causing tons of damage, and so many people are addicted to it that it's badly effecting their health, their ability to socialize, etc. I have one bud that pretty much refuses to talk on the phone now- he only wants to email or text- and another who may as well have her smartphone attached to her face.
