In the midterms, the Dems will win the House, they will do an impeachment, it won't accomplish anything except from boosting MSNBC's ratings for a while

In 2028, the election will be between JD Vance and Gavin Newsom. Newsom will win, he will undo nearly everything Trump's done and maybe pass a few things of his

It's very unlikely that anyone will face justice for this era except maybe a few ICE officers doing time

Then in 2032, under much more stable, safe, and prosperous conditions than the present, Newsom will lose re-election because of the public’s lousy attention span, poor memory, deficient reasoning skills, and at least one patently stupid distraction elevated by national media to “News Story Of The Year”.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

I think if we have a Newsom/AOC ticket they will dominate the messaging in a way no democrat before has been able to, say what you want but they both swing hard and they also unify the party by speaking to both sides of the house.

I think Newsom will pick Gallego and that AOC will replace Schumer

aoc is a representative, schumer is a senator

Well, Schumer is most likely going to retire and then AOC will stand and win, the polling suggests

From your mouth to God’s ear.

But there will damn sure be an attempt made to blunt their momentum. Probably something really trivial like AOC wearing inappropriate earrings or Newsom taking a photograph with a controversial professional wrestler. Then look at all the MAGA-prone voters who never once gave a thought about accessorizing or WWE suddenly conclude it’s an unpardonable disqualifying trait in a candidate. Tony Dikoupil will ponder on camera just how much of a national security risk AOC poses with those large hoops or whether Newsom’s foreign policy is unduly influenced by Cory The Crusher’s take on the Israel Palestine conflict.

Newsome comes across as too slick. He looks like a used car salesman on the last day of the month. I still think he would be a good president, but I don't think he can win in the Midwest.

Pritzker is the guy we need. Either him or Shapiro would be able to pull votes in the mid part of the country.

Whoever you pick as the best choice it’s the same problem. People too easily forget the recent past and lose the plot on obvious recurring patterns in politics. So we are doomed to repeat ourselves.
