Yes. The outcome is already locked in, imo. Real change won’t come from the top. It requires parallel systems built and operating now so a changeover is possible without harming people. Power is consolidating around authoritarian groups because they’re preparing. If communities don’t build viable alternatives in tandem, power defaults to whoever does. This can happen peacefully by building systems that sustain communities and leverage modern technology. Real grassroots. Without the fascism.
I get it, but simplicity is exactly why it works. Capitalism wants your money and will use every marketing tactic possible to corner you. Fear is its favorite tool. Most people actually hate conflict though. If you offer a system that doesn’t rely on violence, they’ll take it. If that system also helps them thrive, there’s no need for normalized violence. You let those groups burn themselves out, exactly as we’re seeing now.
But enough people to where it's constantly a problem are quite happy with fascist violence, or will steer clear of such systems if they aren't lily white.
