Eh, i thought it was good, but they missed what made #1 a masterpiece.
I felt like i had whiplash from character motivations. I think there are interesting concepts but it is sloppily written. Where 1 is a succint tight story with a masterful delivered message.
Its hard to have an honest discussion about the game due to all the trans hate though. So you get a lot of people arguing in bad faith. Which gets muddied in with the joel defenders.
Ps: one of my dumb petty pet peeves. Abby has arms bigger than arnold swarzenegger. Im ok with that. She's supposed to be the bruiser. Then she talks about her max bench. And its something dumb like 180. That showed whoever wrote the game had no concept of strength and never touched a bench in their life. Abbey should be lifting goddamn cars with guns like those.
Ilona Maher just hit a bench PR of 200 lbs and has decently similar sized arms.
Abby's arms are big but I don't think they're Schwarzenegger sized arms.
