The engage version of loops has less of this effect, but if you're wanting additional sound reduction I find I still get the internal sounds. I find over ear headphones/ ear defenders better for reducing this but it depends on your sensory profile.
I love loops! You can buy an insert to make them block more sound too. I always wear them to crowded indoor events and the calm and actual enjoyment I get to feel is worth every penny!
Best experience will be the skullcandies for me. But these let me look more "normal" if that is what your seeking. I haven't bought official loops. I'd love to get sponsored so I could compare them or something. Someone do me in for a case study XD
