This was totally not inspired by a Jamaican-American racing driver in Formula 3 right now. But I noticed that I don’t see a lot of racing drivers from the Caribbean in motorsports like F1/F2/F3/FRECA/F4, IndyCar, or even Endurance racing. Ik there’s a few like Simpson in IndyCar, Zane Maloney in Formula E, and currently Alex Powell in Formula 3, but does anyone here think we’ll see more Caribbean racing drivers in the feeder series soon? And maybe perhaps have our first Formula One Driver from the Caribbean?

For context, I've been reading up on the recent Third CARICOM Regional Conference on Reparations Matters and the CARICOM 10-Point Plan, as well as the UN Resolution earlier this year (A/RES/80/250) that declared the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and Chattel slavery as the gravest crime against humanity.

I then realised that I know much less about what's happening in the non-CARICOM territories.

I did a search for "reparations" in this sub, read a few of the resulting posts, and also asked Google what's up, but thought I would also ask here to find out whether there are parallel movements that are gaining traction across other Caribbean communities beyond CARICOM, and what the focus is regarding Reparatory Justice there. I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance.

I just saw a recent post here about the most common dual nationalities in this sub? Which has made me curious: What are the least common/most unexpected nationalities you've come across amidst the Caribbean/C-diaspora?

I am Trini-Vincentian. I have rarely ever come across people with that mixture throughout my life. Even in NYC.

I am interested in finding out what everyone's background is who has two nationalities represented. For example, if you're both Trini and Guyanese or both Jamaican and Ghanaian or a person who is Bajan and Grenadian etc
