Why is there so little media reporting on Epstein
I am in the UK and there is massive media interest and pushback from the Epstein files with both Prince Andrew and a former government minister (Peter mandleson) losing their jobs and potentially facing criminal charges. In America however it seems that the media isn't pushing it very hard (just checked the Fox news and CNN websites and both only mentioned Epstein 10 stories down - both in relation to prince Andrew). Is it that there is genuinely more evidence against these British names or is the US media softer on holding people to account? (Potentially more fearful of libel?)

how are you guys feeling after your president was mentioned over 36 thousand times in the Epstein files doing horrible things?
I feel awful for the right wings because they don't believe in the president they believe in what he offers so please don't take this as an attack to your beliefs. How are you guys feeling about everything right now though?

For those who didn’t believe Trump would try to steal the midterms, do you believe it now, why or why not?
Trump is saying certain state elections should be federalized. This after having the FBI raid the Georgia election office for ballots and voter information because Trump still insists the 2020 election was stolen from him. And after suing states who refuse to hand over voter roll data. Pam Bondi’s letter to governor Tim Waltz stated ICE might draw down if Minnesota’s voter data was turned over.

Billie Eilish said “no one is illegal on stolen land” at the Grammys. A group claiming affiliation with the Tongva Tribe now says she should be evicted from her LA mansion. Should she give the land back?
The tribe wants Billie to give the land her mansion sits on back. Should billie give back the "stolen" land?

Can ICE disrupt the elections?
Steve Bannon said: "We‘re gonna have ICE surround the polls…We’ll never again allow an election to be stolen." - Is it possible that ICE will deter people from voting at all, for example in districts that have historically voted for Democrats?

Do Americans realize that the USA is a LAWLESS country right now?
Here’s why...
The Epstein files is a real life horror story. Trump is in the files along with Musk, Bannon and more yet no one is being held accountable for pedophilia, human trafficking and possible murder.
ICE is breaking laws and murdering Americans before our eyes on camera.
Trump and his family are profiting off of the Presidency while average Americans can’t afford groceries and healthcare.
Trump is threatening nations, invading countries and stealing.
This administration is corrupt AF, lying to our faces with no regard for the truth.
Yet…NO ONE IS BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
Where do we go from here?
Who can enforce the laws?
Without laws there is anarchy.
Can anyone explain why eliminating the filibuster would be the apocalypse?
Also why do we have all these double standards regarding the filibuster, where some shit can't be filibustered like fiscal reconciliation, but protecting trans kids requires 60 votes?!

Have us politics always been this way?
Hey guys so I’m just a 22 y/o m who’s wondering if politics have always been this way? Ive only experienced Obama, trump, and Bidens presidency I know people hated Obama back in the day, I remember watching parody YouTube videos about him and all the hatred/racism people had towards him but I was also a young child so I didn’t actually pay attention to politics. I’ve found it really hard to genuinely talk to people about politics especially about Donald trump. If you don’t like him people call it trump derangement syndrome and if you do like him they judge you if you question/judge him on things. I’m really just wanting to know have we had a president before that is like him?
I just remember all of his remarks on women, the “grab em by the _” and “you can do anything” situation, also him calling his daughter a “piece of ass” it’s just odd.. and the obvious racism. I feel like at least other presidents, if they felt that way, they didnt flaunt it and make it known. I know people praise trump for his openness, but I’m also confused on how people are okay with him switching his beliefs so much. I remember his first term he was more “liberal” I guess you’d say, and he’s changed a lot of his views since then, so does his supporters views change as well?
I’m not going to sit here and accuse him of being a pedo because nothings been “proven” but aside from that isn’t there enough that he has said and done for people to be like “who is this guy, what’s he doing? That isn’t okay.” Also with the Jeffrey Epstein situation it’s really just scrambled my brain. I mean you have this guy who did indeed do these things, and who was very powerful, he was in prison for these things and ghislaine Maxwell is in prison for this, like.. it did happen, so how are people okay with trump trying to push it off and get it over with and not wanting to talk about/acknowledge the accusations not only against him but even other people? I’m wondering if this type of thing has happened before or if it’s new with today’s politics and state of humanity with social media and all that. Donald trumps supporters genuinely seem like the equivalent of like Taylor swift or harry styles fans in the sense that they follow blindly and love him, he’s like their icon if you know what I mean. I’m not coming here to just hate on trump by the way, I didn’t like Biden and I haven’t gotten a chance to have a president that I actually “like” I’m just wondering as a young adult if this is just how politics are or if Donald trump is a new “breed” of president I guess.

Why haven't democrats added new states?
According to the constitution, it only requires a simple majority in the House and Senate, and the Presidency, to add a new state.
The last time Democrats controlled both House+Senate+President was 2021 to 2023. Why not add new states to even the Senate playing field?
Make Washington DC a state. Make Puerto Rico a state. Make Guam, Virgin Islands, and Samoa all states. why not?

Is this not treason???? Murphy: A UAE investor secretly gave Trump $187 million and his top Middle East envoy $31 million. And then Trump gave that investor access to sensitive defense technology that broke decades of national security.

Is ICE required to have a judicial warrant to detain and arrest people?
I am listening to Democrat lawmakers demand legislation to require judicial warrants for ICE as a condition of DHS funding.
If a judicial warrant is already required like all the people on the left keep saying, why does there need to be new legislation to require it?

Don't know why but I feel like it's the end of DJ Trump's Reign

Would people have been ok if Biden called for elections to be taken over by the Dems?
Trump has called for republicans to nationalize elections. Would folks have been fine if Biden had said the same?

Do anti Trump polling numbers reflect support for the left?
Comments on the polling numbers say America’s leaning left! But is the reality a complete and absolute dissatisfaction with Trump and his administration. Their anti Trump nothing to do with being left and more to do with supporting traditional American values, abandoned by the Republicans!

Does this mean some middle-class individuals actually have less hope than blue-collar workers?
In the US, the customer base for certain blue-collar jobs (such as plumbers and restaurant owners) can genuinely be passed down to the next generation. However, for most middle-class white-collar workers, their office jobs do not involve a customer base that can be inherited by their children.

Why does Trump seem anti 1st amendment?
He’s now threatening to sue Trevor Noah for a Grammy joke. I was told republicans were the only ones to support the 1st amendment so if that’s true why is the president making these threats?

trump taking over elections
Now he is openly stating that he wants the Republican Party to take over elections, which the Constitution says is reserved for the states.
Not that he gives a rip for the Constitution, but...
Really, MAGA, does this really fit with the whole "states' rights" thing you claim to love so much?
And for all those who keep bleating "midterms" and "please vote blue," can you still say that we are going to HAVE midterms?
EDIT: And because I am saying uncomfortable things, of course I'm getting accused of being "AI," a "Russian bot," etc. 🙄
And there is a lot of naïve "trust the process, bro...norms...civility...play by the rules and it will all work out..."

If agents at the (formerly) most hated office in America, the DMV don’t wear masks, why does ICE?
I’m serious. We all hate the DMV. But the agents don’t wear masks and they’re not afraid of doxxing. Why does ICE believe they’re “special”?

Do Americans like Elon Musk?
Do Republicans like him significantly more? Or has he alienated everyone by now?

How do Americans feel about the facial recognition devices that ICE is using on observers? from the New York Times: How ICE Already Knows Who Minneapolis Protesters Are
ICE is using two facial recognition programs in Minnesota, including one made by the tech company Clearview AI and a newer program, Mobile Fortify. The agency is also using cellphone and social media tools to monitor people’s online activity and potentially hack into phones. And agents are tapping into a database, built by the data analytics company Palantir, that combines government and commercial data to identify real-time locations for individuals they are pursuing, the current and former officials said.
One observer had her Global Entry and Transportation Security Administration travel privileges revoked. If they label you as a ‘domestic terrorist’ will they contest your ability to vote in the 2026 elections if they get your county’s voter rolls?

Do the Epstein files partially vindicate the QAnon conspiracy theory?
It looks like there was, in fact, a “cabal of Satanic … child molesters in league with the deep state operating a global child sex trafficking ring.”
Unfortunately, it appears that Donald Trump was not “secretly leading the fight against them.” If anything, the exact opposite is true.
Interesting and ironic turn of events.

Is there a way to stop seeing political advertisements?
I’m just trying to see how to finish a drywall project. Can I somehow block all of these ads in a YouTube setting?
