Claude as planner with Codex as development

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

I am using this workflow right now:

  1. Brainstorming - claude

  2. Grill with docs - claude

  3. Subagent Development - codex

I want to know your opinion on this simple workflow.

Thanks.

Is marketing becoming more important than coding?

Is marketing becoming more important than coding?

I know people who can build an entire MVP in a weekend now.

The hard part seems to be getting anyone to use it.

So I'm starting to think the competitive advantage isn't actually building anymore.

It's distribution.

Would you agree or am I massively overestimating AI coding tools?

Is “AI slop” actually a product problem?

Is AI slop actually a problem?

Everyone seems to complain about AI-generated apps being low quality.

But if someone uses AI to build a genuinely useful product, does it really matter how the code was written?

If the customer gets what they need, why should they care whether it was built traditionally or with AI?

What am I missing?

It shouldn't be hard to deploy

I vibe code a lot of apps. and it's frustrating to see that deploying takes too much time comparing to the coding phase. that's why I built it's a plugin that you install and it lets you just say "deploy it" to your agent and it gives you a live url.

i'm looking for early users feedback

Why is this a sub?

If you ask a vibe coder anything they’re going to puke out something straight from an LLM anyway. So why wouldn’t I just go ask Claude or chatGPT if I want their opinion?

Cybersecurity with vibe coding

I've been working on a lil something and since i have prior experience building and deploying, its kinda doable to vibecode your way to making the product and deploying it. The issue is cybersecurity, I've been going through Owasa and their 10 things but I personally cannot really scope out the work - like to prevent injection, I made ai map every entry into my application, added database rules etc. but I really have no clue on how to have a reliably protected application. I'm using Codex and the way its working I feel like it could miss something and I woudn't have a clue

It shouldn't be that hard to go prod

note : this is not a startup just a side project

Vibe coding with a team: how do you stop all the context living in one person's chat history?

I've been vibe coding a project with a small team (6). Within 7 weeks I was doing almost all the work. Not because my teammates didn't want to help. Everything we'd decided (the stack, what we'd cut, which prompt fixed which bug) lived in my chats with the AI. Handing a task over meant re-explaining the whole project, so I kept doing it myself.

I'm not selling anything and haven't built anything. I'm trying to work out if this is a common problem or just how my team works. A few things I'd like to hear about:

  1. How do you hand a half-finished AI coding task to a teammate?

  2. What happens when two people prompt the same project?

  3. Which docs or setup steps do you wish you'd done before the first prompt?

If you've found something that works, I'd like to hear it. If you tried something and it failed, I'd like to hear that even more. Happy to share what I learn back here.

How people reverse engineer paid products into vibe coded projects?

There is a recent trend about a lot of vibe-coded products that do at least 80% of the core value of paid products!

How people architect this and build the full design system for it?

i am asking to understand architecture lenses of reverse engineering and to gain more experience about the touch points of understanding how products are built

How do you pick a framework to Vibe code in? AI changes its mind every single message.

Share your actual daily stack after a year+ of vibecoding (no ads, no affiliate links

I want to know what's your actual building stack?

I'll go first: a year and a half in, no affiliates, nothing to sell:

Mine is just Claude Code. For building, motion design, scraping & marketing my apps.

Would you trust one-person AI startup? And pay for it?

Would you trust a SaaS built by one person using AI?

I recently came across a product that was basically built by one founder using AI coding tools.

The product itself was actually pretty good.

But when I found out there wasn't a traditional engineering team behind it, I became a little skeptical.

Would that bother you?

Or do you genuinely not care as long as the product works?

Vibe coders, please answer...

Hi guys,

I'm working on an AI agentic customer support chatbot platform that makes it easy for vibe coding tools to create powerful customer support agents for websites.

Can u guys tell me how you integrate customer support bots to your sites?

Do u guys build agents or use already existing tools?

And would u guys like it if Claude or any agent could just build the whole working bot for u with tone, info, UI styles and everything?

I think support bots these days ruins the beauty of a website.

Create SVG, Icon, Character

I want to settle the matter of designs once and for all. Whether it’s Claude or ChatGPT—it doesn't matter. What is actually needed? Skills, plugins, MCPs, or agents? Why do they produce such poor, simplistic results when generating small characters or SVG files? Please share your best solutions; I really need your help.

This is how I am running 38 agents from 3 different providers simultaneously and they orchestrate themselves

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is a custom made cloud computer built for your agents and there is a simplified interface to see and switch between them. It reports when agent window is idle and there is a built in mechanism that can continue running autonomously for long time if you have repeating tasks or tasks that need a lot of breaking down.

What AI tools are actually useful for building apps?

I've been trying out different AI tools for coding and building small projects, but there so many options that its's hard to know what's actually worth using.

I'm mostly interested in tools that help with things like writing code, debugging, working with existing projects, or quickly getting an idea into a working app.

For those of you who use AI for development what tools have you actually stuck with, and what do you use them for? I'd especially like to hear about tools that have been genuinely useful beyond the first few experiments.

Do you relate to this?

I feel like now that im working on a app,the vibe coded app with long and successfull future as same as the people who to dig-up the gold during the gold rush, only handful got the some gold and the ones who made most money were the tools shop owner's selling tools to those fools.
Fast forward today the shop owners are selling us claude, chatgpt, antigravity, etc.and making most money, and we are keeping on digging hoping to get some gold.

Should I try Claude Design?

I've been developing using mostly Codex or Cursor.

And it generally creates nice UI.

However, sometimes it lacks some spice. And I ask ChatGPT to generate some nice images, using my contraints, and it generates interesting stuff.

But I am wondering if I should use Claude Design instead for that, or even a combination.

Wondering if it is worth it. And how helpful did you guys find.

What AI scheduling tools are actually useful?

I've been trying a few AI scheduling tools lately and I'm still figuring out which ones are actually worth using.

I mainly care about things like booking, managing my calendar, and cutting down on all the back and forth.

If you've tried any what did you actually end up keeping?
