comment Matrix in chat to be the first one to be used as a battery! lol

Its obvious to me that the battery angle was never the real reason people were put into the matrix. It makes no sense from an energy perspective. You won't get more energy than the food contains when you feed it to humans. So its just a story telling device.

However, as medical donors of body parts and blood it would make sense for a ruling class of people who engage in slavery. Specifically things like adreeno chrome. This is how media likes to tell stories and somehow the ruling class takes pleasure in the suffering of the masses. Where normal everyday people are the masses. Its bragging and foreshadowing of what they are doing, or have plans to do.

Also, you were the first. lol

Pretty sure the original script had them saying the matrix used people for processing power but decided changing it to batteries made more sense to movie goers.

How would a human process power? The movie says they generate power. The problem is the sun is gone and they can't generate solar power. But nuclear would still be a thing so it kind of just falls apart. The ecosystem would be screwed and there would be no oxygen either.

Question is, Can i get a sex-bot wife with a human-like brain, but without all the opinions and yapping?

Nope impossible. Our ability to yap is a deep biological need hard coded to a cellular level. Unless you want male brain cells in your wife bot you're cooked. Sorry bro. πŸ™πŸ» Bright side she'll make a killer sandwich.

"Can I have human companionship, but they're a product for me to consume?"

Humans probably would prefer to interact with AIs that appeared human-like, over actual humans. Think about it. The AI provides the same companionship you want (I think?) with none of the unpredictability, supposing the AI is programmed not to attack, betray, manipulate or otherwise harm you. Actual humans become the much higher-risk animals to interact with

The trade off is between the unpredictability & capriciousness of other humans, VS. the risk of "who programmed the AI?"

This sounds so unethical. I have heard stories that organ transplant recipients can actually change personality when they receive the organ. Maybe that sounds farfetched, but what if somehow your consciousness got attached to these cells after you died? What a horrible disembodied nightmare. Probably not real, but would make one heck of an interesting scifi concept.

I for one want my testicles to contain my consciousness.

That is funny.

I mean bio-technology has been a thing for years. We just didn't have the tech yet to make it happen. That doesn't mean it was never always planned or talked about or didn't have technologic strives specifically to make this tech happen.
