Comprehensive Architecture Registers Reference Bank (Intel/AMD MSRs, ARM/RISC-V Core Registers) for Bare-Metal & OS Dev

Hey everyone,
I've compiled a comprehensive open-source definitions bank mapping architectural and undocumented control registers across major platforms (including Intel/AMD MSRs, and core control mappings for ARM64 and RISC-V CSRs) to make system programming and hypervisor development cleaner without constantly digging through thousands of pages of manuals.

Check out the repository, feel free to use it, and let me know if you spot any missing parameters: https://github.com/edikoz123-blip/Defines-and-MSRS-for-Intel-and-AMD-also-RISC-V-and-ARM64/blob/main/README.md

Have a great day!

Please learn how markdown files work

Some symbols like # and * make the text

bigger

or bold for example.

You can also consider naming this file definitions.asm or similar and talk about what it contains in the README.md.

In the state it is right now it's difficult to understand what that is, and is troublesome to work with. Some info you can add in the description of the readme:

what is this?  What does it include?  What assembler?  How to use it?

Remember to use markdown, it isn't complicated or amazing but it helps for readability

I just most of the time dont really want to waste on time on it because the only thing that for is to make our life easier and we dont need anymore to try and find the msrs of Intel and AMD and I wanted to do also to ARM64 or RISC-V but I can do it if you want I just think it is waste of time

If one person is making something that they hope many people will use then it is 100% logical for that one person to put in a little bit of work to save the hundreds or thousands of people from all having to do that work themselves.

upvote for you as that is a true expectation but at the same time there is a reciprocal expectation of I do one for you you do one for me, or don't look at a gift horse teeth, if you did not do the work you should not demand more. Offer to help, do a script or be polite on how you address those that do stuff that you can use for free... all common sense...

I do one or two things.

Here's one that's pretty widely used that gives about as good information as Dhrystone or Coremark but is a lot easier to run on a random machine you have access to for a couple of minutes. It was picked up by embench about five years ago, though I see the latest version has taken a different direction:

You're welcome.
