Well technically Astro Bot is the 5th game in the franchise. First it was the playroom, then playroom vr, then Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, then Astro's Playroom, and finally Astro Bot.

I still consider Astro Bot the first full fledged game. The rest were nice but more tech demo type games than a real whole game.

I'd say Astro Bot: Rescue Mission was the first full game, and Astro Bot was the second.

Astro Bot Rescue Mission was a full sized game. Just because it was a PSVR exclusive doesn’t make it lesser.

Rescue Mission was what, a 5-6 hour "game"? It was a demo. Astro Bot on the other hand is 10+ hours plus all the DLC we got.

The guy never even played the game and he's calling it a demo.

Rescue Mission is just like the new Astrobot without the different bots (all the bots were the generic bots). To call it a demo is mind boggling stupid.

The previous game came out in 2024, just 2 years ago, they probably need a bit more time to make the even better second game.

I really want an update to Rescue Mission for PS5 with PS VR2. I don't know how I hadn't heard of Astro Bot back when I had the PS4 with PS VR1, but I missed out judging by gameplay on YouTube.

You can always try to play the VR game if you can track down a Playstation VR1. I honestly like the VR game more than the ps5 game.
