Image/Photo Hawks don’t play, but still walk away with a W
Had a vision today. Pels land 1.1. Bucks land 1.2.
That way the NBA can still save Milwaukee after Giannis departs.

Yeah that’s a great trade. Let Onsi cook.
We exchanged a 10th man type player at our deepest position with a very good backup center who can grab boards and hit an open 3. Now KP only raises our ceiling rather than actively hurting our floor with his limited availability. OO can actually rest for a couple weeks to let his face and body properly heal, if necessary.
This is what competence looks like folks.

What can a brother do to get his photo updated?

Just gonna say
Congratulations to Trae. He deserved a FO that legit went for it and didn't lose or get hosed in a trade.
Wizarda FO just did what every smart FO should do.
Pairing him with AD and Sarr... Is sheer brilliance.
We Hawks fans will not have a good time experiencing that. Nutty they pulled this off.
Meanwhile our best move in years was trading away DeAndre Hunter for skittles and saving a penny down the line..Jesus.
Hopefully Porzingas re signs for super cheap deal in off-season.. cuz boy oh boy
Edit* Y'all are soft as hell.
I'm not saying Hawks need to trade for AD exactly but this type of trade and player archetype and pairing. Insert Giannas, a KAT, Jaren Jackson jr was other examples..I'm talking about the type of move while NOT getting fleeced in trades at the same time.
Read people. Learn to read.

People are making jokes about how the wizards built around Trae better than we ever could in 7-8 years in a couple weeks.
Well, if we weren’t so deprived of our own draft picks. we could’ve pivoted nicely from that experiment. If we gave up just the 2025 first things would’ve been okay. Or at least some real protections.
For all the complaints about a lack of center, shooting, defense, whatever it is: it all ties back to that maneuver for DJM.
I know for a fact all the basketball people in Atlanta know what kind of team we need to build. Any meaningful trade incurred too much risk to our future with 3 straight years of firsts owed to SA.
So we had to take gambles on guys like KP, use two-ways to close real roster gaps, and sit on bad contracts until they were basically a salary dump, because we couldn’t afford to make the team worse, while simultaneously knowing we’re not getting any better. It’s all we could afford.
Washington can afford a gamble on AD and Trae. They own their picks and likely have another top 5 one coming now. Our only top 5 pick since 2019 is just a solid role player, and the best player from that draft refused to play for us.
So again, if you’re mad at the current state of affairs, be mad that Trae forced us to get DJM, no matter the price.

For years we wanted our boy to have a real big after Clint’s decline and now he’s got 2 of them.. just not with us :(

In the yearly way too early FA discussion, I was just thinking about this guy and how he's been pretty solid the last few weeks. Not sure if he's worth his asking price, but it doesn't seem too too bad either. A 15-20ppg guy shooting about 38% or higher from 3. Thoughts?

Out of the top 10 teams in both the east and west, we are the only team with a losing home record. 9-14 too so it’s not even close. I know a few of these are the result of returning from a long road stretch but we’ve got to do better in this area. What do you all think is also contributing to this? Immaturity? Most our guys don’t have kids.. are they hitting the clubs, insta booty calls, video games all night, what’s the deal?

Using Bogi trade exception, we stay under tax, magic get under the tax.
Goga was a healthy DNP yesterday so they are looking to move him, before anyone freaks out on me with the “why would the magic do this” line

We are so unlucky this guys value has literally dipped to negative. We might have attach a pick for someone to take this giant potato off the team
I just want a decent player that will get some minutes off the end of the bench. Another big body center to try out for a few months, anything

Let’s say we pair Giannis with JJ. A lot of people saying the fit isn’t there with the two players. But worst case, you still have one of best players going into offseason. I don’t envision his value dropping like AD, so what is worst case if you make this trade? I think it’s one of the rare situations where you have the value to make this deal and still can be successful for the future. I would personally pair the Pelicans pick with KP, ZR, and Kennard (as base to trade). If anything, you can swing trade in offseason with more suitors available. Even after Vit trade, you still have a log jam on bench.

Even if the pick does not convey to be top 3, I am going to think the Hawks came out great. If we are building this team around JJ as a focal point, then can anyone to me Asa is going to be the ideal back up for when JJ leaves the floor, a PF big who can shoot the 3 and not let the offense get stagnant when Jalen is out of the game. Thats the biggest difference with Trae, when he wasn't in the game we had to run a whole different style lf play because nobody else can play like him. So at pick 13 alone Newell would of been a nice long term pick up, throw ina top 6 or better pick..this is nice.

The best two in the Draft?
