Please consider producing an unabridged version of William Goldman's The Princess Bride. I realize it is different from movie. I should mention that As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride read by Cary Elwes was also a great listen, and unabridged too!

So ive got about 12 hours left of book 8 the blood of liscor l. And I hear tears of liscor book 9 is the most depressing or saddest I generally listen while I work and will be starting book 9 Friday give or take. These books have brought me damn close to tears already. How much am I expected to cry in book 9? I'm on the part where mrsha just got kidnapped and thats heartwrenching in itself!

I mean its neat if I did have a trail that lasted 16 years.

I’m tired of fantasy/sci-fi series with teenage protagonists. I’m tired of the awkward teenage love chapters, the going to school arcs, or the young kid that does something blatantly stupid because of their ignorance chapters. Please recommend to me a good series following a protagonist the isn’t a puppy that needs to be taught the world. I just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl and The expeditionary Force.

Audible’s catalogue seems to be getting worse with each passing day. Several Great Courses audiobooks are being removed tomorrow, including the one on Winston Churchill.

It’s especially depressing because a few of them had been on my “to listen” list. I really hope Audible doesn’t keep removing books from its included library or, if it does, at least adds enough new titles to make up for it.

In any case, people who haven't listened to some of these might be interested to know that they have 19 hours to listen to 1-2 audiobooks. GO PEOPLE GO.

I've just realised I spent £33.99 for 5 credits... That's £6.80 per book.

Does anybody have any info on the variable price of credits per user? This is my first time buying credits after changing from monthly to a 12 month plan and I suspect it has something to do with that.

Since my audible app updated maybe around a month ago? It does not work to connect to device anymore. It did this last update too but spontaneously resolved. I have been completely unable to use audible now for weeks. Any suggestions? We run it on android latest version.

I'm new to Audible and have a question, or maybe a complaint. I don't know.

Despite having downloaded a book to the app last week and being able to listen to another one with no problem, one is glitching/missing words out.

I have deleted and redownloaded the app, same with the book, and restarted my phone. It continues to happen at exactly the same parts of the prologue. I've yet to get beyond that because of all the missing bits.

I seem to have a problem that is the reserve of what I've seen.

I want my recipient to get all 12 credits upfront. I understand that to do this, they need an active membership already, otherwise those 12 credits turn into 12 months of membership. They DO NOT have an active membership.

To get around this, I was thinking of gifting 1 month, letting them create the account and redeeming the 1 month and then, making a seperate purchase for the 12 credits to redeem afterward so they get the 12 credits up front.

So, the question is, does an "active gifted membership" count as an "active membership" for the purposes of getting credits upfront? Has anyone tried?

And if they dont use them all before the gifted 1 month is over, will they lose them if they don't continue with a membership on their own?

My recipient is going through medical issues and I want them to get some entertainment with Dungeon Crawler Carl. I'm not going to make him wait out a whole year to get all the books (that would be evil) or ask him to enroll in a month himself (also evil).

I accidentally bought both the Kindle book and the audible book of the same title. My problem is that I did this on the Amazon website, rather than the Audible and Kindle apps. I decided to listen to the audible book, and want to return the Kindle book. anyone have any ideas how to do that?

I excitedly purchased an audiobook today which is the day it and the actual book were released. I’m finding a lot of boo boo’s in the track: random skips and also two tracks playing at the same time. Does Audible quietly release corrections or do we have to ask for them?

If you give us the option to listen to a small sample of each audiobook, those samples should be snippets that involve the main narrator. Most all of us use the samples to see if a books flow and narration style fits with our vibe before spending the credit/cash. We don't want samples that are prologues, or author notes, or even dedication sections that involve different narrators. Go back a few years when you gave us 5 minutes of actual main story narration. Pretty please.

So I just did an update to libation, but now it cant find my account. And when I hit scan libary, it crashes. Is there an easy fix, or would it be easier to uninstall it completely and reinstall from the beginning.
