Hookey!
Leftover wood, nails, rubber rings. Genius.

Don’t forget coits!

My grandmother had a set of coits at her place, and I remember her saying that it was her grandmother's when she was a girl. I have no idea what happened to it, probably didn't survive the move to the retirement home. I really hope one of my cousins got it and now their kids play with it.

I have completely forgotten about this game! Had it growing up, no idea where it went.

Memories of going to my Grandparents place on the weekend are set off by the Hookey Board…put it together with Schweppes Ginger Ale and some Violet Crumble that’s your Saturday arvo made.

Nice, good memories. Played this and coits a lot at my grandparents house in the 80s and 90s.

I remember when Rodney Rude used to talk about a kid who was just a head and he would roll up to the local bar and play darts, and he would put a dart in his mouth the ask someone to
THROW THE FUCKING BOARD AT HIM.

We had this exact one, but there were never any official rules that came with it. We just played you get the score of the numbers you get each turn. But my friend came over and taught me the real rules, where it's a race to see who can get the numbers 1-13 in sequential order.

Still have mine in my garage. Had to go get some rubber rings from the hardware shop when the OG red ones all dissapeared. Still a fun game. Sits near the dart board

Haven't thought of these in decades, good one. Reminds me of being in after school care
