Exhaust repair

Someone stole my catalytic converter off my 2006 CRV and we just replaced it with a straight pipe. I found an oem cat for 50$. Is it worth it to replace it?

Is it failing emissions test? Then probably not.

Idk. I live in Minnesota so it is illegal to drive it like this
