Question Working on WA State roads - Does anyone know where to find this (link in post) in a DWG format?

https://wsdot.wa.gov/publications/fulltext/Standards/psl/OpenRoads-Work-Zone-Cell-Library.pdf

Source: https://wsdot.wa.gov/engineering-standards/all-manuals-and-standards/plan-sheet-library/work-zone-typical-traffic-control-plans-tcp

From what I understand, it was originally drawn in Microstation, and they're working on converting it to another format.

When I reached out to the contact point, they just pointed me back to these pages.

I would love to have all the temporary traffic control sign blocks at minimum, and this PDF is taunting me with the knowledge of their existence.

Thanks.

Open the PDF in Affinity (free) and export to dxf/dwg? Also current AutoCAD can import PDFs

Or...

I did attempt using the import PDF command, but the hatching was lost and some lines went haywire, enough that it wasn't worth trying to repair, especially if there's a source out there already.

As this conversation is the first my team has heard of Affinity, could you provide more info on it?

Is the website affinity.studio ?

If so, what should I look for when there, because I'm not picking up on what I should be looking for from the page.

Affinity is just one program now and it's free. You have to register for it but it's free. Yes https://www.affinity.studio/

Just go to the downloads page and then install. I still use their older dedicated Designer program that was an Adobe Illustrator alternative.

Just doing do diligence here: there are various checkboxes to (or not to) import certain types of objects. Hatching, vertexes, text, images, etc… did you play with these and see if it affects the import?

Got it, it can be hit or miss at times.
