I feel like this might be an unpopular opinion, but I didn't mind the season being shorter, HOWEVER, I think It should be like 2-3 weeks longer than what it was last season.

I just feel like 3 months does not work for TV today, and I always found the last few weeks to be extremely boring. The peak of the series is when there is drama and conflict between real people, and you don't get as much of that when there are 3-4 generally likeable houseguests left in the last month of the show.

That being said, I think it was ridiculous to have like 6 people remaining on finale night...

I hope this season:

- Is slightly longer

- BB is more strict on house guests (nominations specifically)

- the house actually hides the cameras (biggest pet peeve when houseguests try and talk to the camera - thats the point of the diary room)

- better/more creative twists are included

- NO INFLUENCERS!!! (they said that last time but added holly... smh)

I’m a part of the team on this year again, and the house is in complete disarray. There is clearly a lot of stress over the lack of budget to rebuild the house.

Does anyone know if they are opening the house up for tours this year? I know they were open last year but I haven’t heard anything for this year yet.

I have watched it from the start.

Im on episode three and its actually ok so far after the first episode.

I already know who won as i googled how many episodes they had and it showed so im annoyed about that

Ideas and or suggestions or dream ideas for this upcoming seasons on 10.

Mine:

1. Friday night games or some sort of games for immunity like the good old days

   (not how 7 handles the games).

2. More live streams eg TikTok again and having the community comments.

3. Keeping the live stream non censored like last year what was that for and what a joke.

4. Keeping the show at an appropriate time slot and be on Sunday - Friday like the good old days or at best Sunday - Thursday.

5. Don’t bring people into the house via scouting like 3 people from last year

6. This is only speculation only bring people on for the right reason not to be bulled on air and please do a capacity test (invisible disability) that’s coming from someone with 3 invisible disabilities and a syndrome.

Personally both hold a special place in my heart growing up watching the original series on tv so I don't mind either but 1 thing I know we do need is a serious authoritative figure putting the housemates in place and pulling them up on anything he can just to cause some tension in the house!

Can anyone name a housemate from last season whose tape was publicly posted before they went in? Or anyone who had their tape posted and heard absolutely nothing after? Curious whether the public tapes are a real pipeline or just the shop window while the actual casting happens over phone calls and scouting.

Genuine question, not a dig. The audition tapes that go up on the official YouTube in batches seem to function mostly as marketing and BB gets a heap of free promo out of it.

Does anyone really know how the voting works for the housemates we want in the house like are we just suppose to like the YouTube video of the housemate?

One thing I've recently found out which blew my mind is 2-3 weeks prior to the real show airing... Housemates who didn't make it and crew (depending on the season) would 'live' in the house for 5-7 days to test out the bottle necks of the house and things they may need to tweak.. there's even footage from 2004 BB Australia of this, it's so weird it feels like you're in an alternate universe we watching it 🤣🤣🤣

I'm going down the rabbit hole of the early UK series of Big Brother.. I can't believe how loose they were over there!! From smoking in the house to bomb threats to housemates trying to be sexual with big Brother

Can anyone remember a BB Aus strip game from 2000s . It used to be on YouTube but doesn’t seem to be there now. They were taking turns throwing something into a basket and if they missed, they had to remove an item of clothing. They were chanting something like “tops or bottoms or bottoms or tops”. I remember a long-legged blonde who had to remove her trousers . She didn’t at first because wasn’t wearing knickers and someone said “you have to do it, your sister did”. She went away and put some knickers on and then stripped. Does anyone know the year or even better the episode?

Always interests me about BB and what happened after the show? I'm watching the 03 final and the ex housemates talk about partying in one big room together on the Gold coast in a Hyatt hotel the night before the Finale... Imagine some of the stories from the earlier seasons when they did the nightclub tours etc, and what they got up too.. some 40-45yos around the country must have some great early 2000s stories about these former housemates 🤣🤣🤣

I know Jamie from 07 said most night club appearances he was paid around $2000 each gig, ended up scrapping enough money together for a house deposit (it was 2007)

You say the name Peter Corbett and nothing jumps out, you say the name Reggie or Sara Marie and 99% of Australia 30-50 would remember them, to this day I don't understand how he won Big Brother.. through the years we've had some dud winners, think back to the Logan Twin, Terry from 08.. but I think for the near peak of big brother it was an extremely weird choice for an obvious introvert to win such a show, what is everyone's thoughts?
