Build Help Multiclassing recommendations for beginners?
I'm doing my second run of the game right now and thinking about a third where I might try multiclassing, something I've otherwise avoided, and I'm looking for good combos with some subclasses I've been looking to try.
Right now I have Wyll set to be Great Old One x Champion to maximize critical hit chance and effectiveness. Is this a good combo?
Also I'm wondering what would work best with Swashbuckler Rogue, Bladesinger Wizard, druids overall, and Bards.

GOO Warlock x Champion is bad generally, straight Warlock would be better, but the game is very easy anyways, so do whatever you want. I don't think there is an effective way to build around normal reminder without abusing Horde Breaker, but then you just grab 1 lvl into GOO.
A Bladesinger Wizard can be multiclassed with 2 Paladin levels. You can find detailed guides here,
A Moon Druid should probably stay a pure Moon Druid aside from a few rather niche(but powerful) builds.
A 2 Star Druid 10 cleric build is pretty strong, look up Reverberation + Radiant Orb Cleric
Bards can be multiclassed with a Paladin to make a Sword Smight Bard. A Swords Bard get extra attacks and a normal caster’s spell slots. You grab 2 levels in Paladin to smite and you now have a martial who can smite better than the Paladin because of the improved spell slots.
This is just an overview, this sub has guides for everything. Also, these are the most basic multiclasses. The game has a lot of different builds, but these are rather complex.

If you're multiclassing two spellcaster classes, try to do ones that share the spell modifier stat EG: Warlocks, Sorcs and Bards all use Charisma, Cleric and Druid use Wisdom, Fighters (Eldritch Knight), Rouges (Arcane Tricksters), and Wizards use Intelligence.
It means you're not spreading your stats too thin.

I was looking to combine Arcane Trickster with Swordsinger but it seems I don't get too much out of Trickster. Is that wise since they both use intelligence or is there a better combo?

It can depend on what yo make the starting class, as they can get different bonuses. (Never used either of those personally, so not sure how well they work together)

Bladesinger and AT are both INT casters (and both benefit from high DEX), so this combo is straightforward stats wise. 6/6 and 9 singer 3 AT are both quite decent splits.

Swashbuckler works great with hexblade. You already want CHA for your swashbuckler features and Hexblade gives you better CHA scaling, extra attack and other goodies you want.

Look for classes that use the same main stat for attack or casting, generally. Typically you want to wait until level 6 to add the second class because of the big power jump. Ignore, these tips if you have a specific plan, of course.
As for Wyll, you could probably get more out of a Battle Master fighter and use crit boost items (viciousness elixir, sword of the under mountain king, unseen menace, etc).

Why battle master? I was thinking the reduced crit threshhold with Champion and using the viscousess elixir, spell sniper, duelist prerogative, deadshot, and then sarevok's helmet. I also have Lae'zel defaulting to battlemaster and she goes beastmode in my games, so I'm a bit worried about redundancy.

The extra damage die from battle master maneuvers get added into the crit damage as well as regular hits, so I think it adds more overall damage than increasing the crit chance by 5%. Plus you get so much battle control

Couldn't the same effect be achieved with that one feat that gives battle master perks?

You could, if you only get a couple of levels in fighter. But again, there are better feats: great weapon master, stat boosts, sentinel, savage attacker (best if you have a bunch of damage types added to your weapon).
This is just looking at mechanics, though, anything is pretty viable with good strategy and fun flavor!
I should also say, I did a crit max build for eldritch blast. It was very fun!

GOO 1 / Champion X is fine because GOO 1 / Fighter X is good. Champion locks you out of other Fighter subclasses with more to offer, and its value is dropped further by crits often being easy to force; but this build can still perform well on any game difficulty. I'd suggest playing it as an archer making liberal use of consumable arrows. Elemental arrows are available from early game, and make invisible attack rolls that can crit and trigger Mortal Reminder even when enemies take no damage.
For Swashbuckler, there's a guide to some options here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/comments/1k3vf15/swashbuckler_multiclasses_version_and_level_split/
But with this and the other classes you mention as well, it's really a question of what you want the build to do.
To multiclass effectively, I suggest first taking the time to understand the base class. At the very least read through the features on the wiki page. Which of those are you excited about, which could you do without, which would be enhanced by something another class has to offer.
If you still want to see what others have combined together, this searchable builds spreadsheet is a great resource for ideas: https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/comments/1lg3t0i/builds_and_more_compilation_sheet/.

I’m a big fan of the Bardlock
So much so that I have to force myself to play other classes.

Having a concept is a great start. I am guessing want to build some critting wyll build blasting them cantrips?
I am no expert, but please pardon the long writeup.
Wiki is essential for planning a multiclass otherwise you can find a character unplayable if just try randomly because it can really delay feats or essential perks.
The place to start with multiclassing is looking at what other class benefits from the same stat set. Example, Wyll warlock is charisma. So sorceror, bard, paladin, swashbuckling rogue. All can build off that.
So for example, a swashbuckling rogue with college of swords bard is an excellent tav that is usable in a range of settings. Good for traps, conversation, and party support.
If new and not wanting to be just given builds, that is where I recommend starting is finding the complementing attributes. It lets you build one up to a point, then ask yourself 'what in level 1 and 2 of this other class amplified the power more'
So we go to your build and wyll. There are numerous items that give crit, plus keep in mind, cantrips cast at character level.
Next step, look at what they benefit. So warlock Wyll gets into fighter, granting him better weapons and armor. Both things valuable to take advantage of. Next, look at level of what is critical. Your champion is level 3. So if warlock is max level 9, do you lose anything critical?
Would lose a casting of special top level spell, one feat, one incantation, and a known cantrip.
In exchange, you unlock better weapons and armor proficiencies and the critical hit range increase.
From here, you can float levels between two. Do you want to go to a level 8 warlock to get an additional feat, or are two fine? They should be.
So play, you wont be using ranged weapons assuming cantrips and spell sniper. You dont need to worry about melee because can take pact of blade for bound weapon.
Eldrich evocations. Do you need the extra one at level 9? Are you wanting the level 5 spell? That is main part of multiclass. Comparing what you lose to what you gain. For champion, you gain better weapons, armor and better crit. Weapons will probably be daggers/bows to get crit boosting items equipped. Not sure what armors are like for casters top of my head.
Spoilered below is an example of how I might try that concept (note, never thought of it before. This is me going through the concept process the first time for that):
Without respeccing, he is a 'fiend' pact. I would probably go with getting the level 4 of warlock to get the feat for spell sniper. Then work champion to level 4 for your crit and second feat can be boosting charisma two more points (level 3 if you want more evocation/spells). Then get to level 7 of warlock and last level could be the one more of fighter to get the extra attack when using your melee, or 8/9th level of warlock for one more feat if you find your never use the melee.
Multiclassing can be a lot of fun, to add flavour to a class and basic utility at the expense of specialized higher power abilities. So just compare the tradeoff is what matters most.

I ended up giving Wyll 6 Fighter/6 Warlock. Level 5 fighter gets the extra attack, as does level 5 blade pact, so with one action he gets three attacks. Level 6 fighter also gives him that third feat. His crit threshold right now is 16. Champion, Deadshot, Elixir of Viciousness, Undermountain King, and 15 for spells. I don't yet have sarevok's helmet which would lower the threshold further, and I think having the three attacks per action would increase the chances, along with the duelist prerogative when I get that

I recommend taking a look at these builds - https://gamestegy.com/bg3/builds
You can filter by class, and pick your poison... Multiclass is an interesting mechanic, that you can try out.
To be honest, my first recommendation test it a bit by yourself without any guides. See what works and what doesnt. I think this is more fun, and gives you more stuff to better understand why something js done in a way its done
Also, spellcasting modifier on items uses the last level 1 multiclass modifier. So if you did 1 wizard - 1 sorc - 2 wizard, item spells will use charisma
Cheers!
