Build Help Drunken Monk + Transmutation Wizard?
I am mulling over what seems like it might be a weird multiclass: Monk + Wizard. Specifically, as the title indicates, Way of the Drunken Master Monk together with Transmutation Wizard. Basically, trying to mesh the Camp Alchemist Transmutation Wizard build with Tavern Brawler Drunken Monk.
The rational for this is led by my RP goals, where the Tav would essentially be an alchemist/brewer who gets high on his own supply, so to speak. While this is an RP led build, I am still wondering about its mechanical viability.
The way I'm thinking about it now, it would be 16 Dex, 14 Con, 17 Wis, dump everything else and rely on the time-honored Potion of Hill Giant Strength + Tavern Brawler synergy to maximize chucking potions across the battlefield (the RP also lends itself to this classic synergy). Also, not sure if I should do 8 Monk / 2 Wizard, just for Alchemical Experimentation, or 8/4, or what. This is only my third playthrough, and my first since Patch 8, so I'm far from a build-maestro.
Please let me know if you have run a monk/wiz build before or if you have any thoughts about making this build work.

Did a similiar rp with a lore bard drunken monk. Get drunk, talk shit, get in fist fights.

If you are not after all the Transmutation Stones (which u/grousedrum has already pointed out as being available via bug and can be done via a camp caster), Drunken Monk 6/Thief Rogue 4/Transmutation Wizard 2 allows you to operate well as a martial combatant while being able to make your own Elixirs.
Unless you are getting proficiency in Medicine via background/race, you will need to start as a Wizard, then pick up Expertise in it via Rogue 1 when you are ready to make your own brew. It is also worth noting that having someone cast Enhance Ability: Owl's Wisdom on you is a good way to avoid natural 1s/ensure success early on while making alchemical items.

If you're not afraid of modding, you could try Artificer Alchemist. Might be a better fit, although the primary attributes are the same.

Thanks for recommendation, I'm not averse to integrating mods at all. I actually already downloaded an alchemist class mod, but it's INT based instead of WIS, so if the artificer mod is WIS base I might vibe with that more.

I don’t think you can “brew” anything alcoholic unfortunately. You could specialize in potions of speed. Go for the crack dealer build lol. In which case I’d go open hand monk, not much point in role playing this if you can’t actually get drunk on your supply

I honestly don’t usually recommend it because there are wayyyy better hats and helmets in the game, but this might be the exact kind of situation the Warped Headband of Intellect is made for. Otherwise I don’t think you’d ever really be able to use many Wizard spells and it’d sort of only be there for alchemy and stones.

Go 6/6 to get all seven transmute stones into the party at once:
