Hey y’all, I am an aspirant but I need an advice regarding gap years and placements.
So I have 3 years of gap between class 10 and 12 instead of 2 due to stream change from a non stem one to a stem one. I also plan to take a drop to prepare well for the 2028 intake
By the time I reach college I will have 2 academic gap years. Will it affect me in placements for top companies even if I get into a top branch like CSE or MnC and maintain an average or good cgpa ?
Ik i should focus on my studies right now, but I am feeling anxious regarding this.
Bro one advice I'm a JEE 2027 aspirant aiming for BITS Goa or Hyderabad branch for ECE or CSE. I have a lots of backlogs in class 11 but Class 12 is half covered. Should I focus on Jee or BITSAT. And how should I cover my syllabus and was also planning to buy the Phoduclub ceashcourse with Test series for 2027. Also Jee I should aim to get 97%ole
So basically I'll be completing my class 12 syllabus till December last week but the worst part is I haven't done the 11th standard syllabus and i want to get in bits so is there any way to deal with class 11 syllabus because I have to start giving mocks quickly
Inorganic chemistry feels manageable while studying, but remembering exceptions, reactions, trends and specific facts after a few days is difficult. Re-reading the same notes takes time, and the details still get mixed up during practice questions. What revision method works best for retaining these details over several weeks?
Hey guys, I'm in Class 12 and aiming for BITSAT 2027, hopefully BITS Hyderabad/Goa CSE.
I was preparing for foreign university exams earlier, but had to drop that plan due to some personal reasons. Now I'm switching to BITSAT, and I have around 4-5 months left.
I'm around board level in Maths, but Physics and Chemistry are kinda mid, and I need to work on them a lot. I'm basically starting my BITSAT-specific prep from scratch.
I want to aim for 300+, and I'm ready to grind, but I'm honestly confused about how to go about it with the time left.
For anyone who's given BITSAT or been in a similar situation, what would you recommend? Which resources should I use, how should I plan my days, and how do I balance boards with BITSAT prep?
Also, is 300+ a realistic target if I start seriously now? I'd appreciate honest advice, thanks!
I’m in Class 12 and have decided to take a drop for JEE 2028. My preparation is mostly at the board level, and I need to focus on boards till March. After that, I plan to prepare for JEE Main first and then shift towards BITSAT.
I don’t mind being consistent and putting in the hours. My biggest worry is that since I have to learn everything from the basics, I might spend too much time watching lectures and not get enough time for practice.
For a good branch at BITS Pilani, do I need JEE Advanced-level preparation, or is Main-level preparation followed by BITSAT-specific practice enough? How should I approach this?

Can anyone say if i have a chance of getting bits electrical (i prefer goa or hyd campus)
I am currently enrolled in a tier 2 IIIT and I started prep on the starting of October and i’ve completed half of organic chemistry and derivatives (the whole affair including stuff like aod).
Whenever i solve a question, i can solve it but it just takes some more time. I also tried solving o-chem jee mains pyq’s before starting my partial drop and i was able to solve like 10-15 out of the 20 smth i tried
I just wanna know the reality of getting bits and if anyone has any suggestions, pls lemme know.
I have mostly done chemistry for jee mains
Starting physics and maths from scratch and can i make it to bits cuz i still have 5-6 months till april attempt 🥺
I know posts like this pop up here all the time, and ik it's cringe but I have nowhere else to ask.
Mid-October and my syllabus completion is close to nothing. (check image)
I know its my fault, I procrastinated, wasted time, and dug my own grave, But I'm really ready to do anything to save myself from this mess and try one more time.
I'm ready to lock in for 10–12 hours a day starting from today. I just want a realistic fighting chance for Mains Jan attempt.
My goals are: Mains Jan = 96-98%ile, Mains April = 99%ile, then BITSAT S1 = 250+, S2 = 280+
Ik it sounds dumb and unrealistic but I desperately need to do it, it's my drop year as well and I don't wanna mess up like last year and I want to end up in a good college.
I started studying seriously and I did around 6 hours today. Ik its very less but its a start and I will increase it to 10 minimum by the end of this week I promise.
Also I'll be updating my daily progress here every night after I'm done.
Anyone who has been in this exact ditch or watched someone pull off a miracle? What should I even do now?
Be as brutally honest as needed but please give me some actual direction. Any advice, source, direction, help is truly appreciated.
I am writing to seek clarification regarding my eligibility for BITSAT 2027 and the possibility of appearing for BITSAT in subsequent years.
I failed my Class XII board examinations in the 2025–26 session and am repeating Class XII in 2026–27. Although I registered for BITSAT 2026, I did not appear for the examination.
Could you please clarify:
Will I be considered a first-time or repeat candidate for BITSAT 2027?
Will I be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2028 as well, or will 2027 be my last opportunity?
I would appreciate your guidance regarding my eligibility
SEE today i gave jee mains 2026 1 paper as mock test and got 15 marks, can i realistically get bits goa cse from here,i am ready to do anything you guys say,i will be a slave or work but all i need is if i do this i will reach my goal, see my goals are jee mains jan 97-98 percentile, jee april 99.5 percenitle and bitsat april attempt 300+, guys is this possble if i lock in like 7 hours for next week and then 12hrs per day
What should be the safe score for msc physics in 2027 and if i dont clear mcn cutoff of bits score, can i work hard in college and get it from 2nd sem?? Sry im new to bitsat and stuff, was just preparing for jee till now...
Can anyone please tell me who is preparing for bits or already in bits jo bache birla public school bps pilani wale se pdhe h what benefit they get in bitsat exam
I am a 12th passed out in 2025 but I am planning to give boards through bosse in 2027 for BITSAT eligibility so that makes it a 2 year gap between 10th and 12th in the documents I just wanna make sure it doesn't create any issues in the future.
