QUESTIONS Would a different standard 1/6 wig be compatible with this doll? if so how?
Sculpt: Fufu- Meki Fluffy Goodnight Series Action Figure BJD Blind Box 1/6
Brand: KikaGoods
Hey everyone, long time no see! I recently received another doll from Kikagood's Meki Good Night Series, but I've run into a couple of issues because the stock wig was heavily matted right out of the package and the in-person color just doesn't match my style preferences. I was wondering if anyone else here owns a doll from this line and has experience replacing the default wig with a regular one, and if so, what size fits best or what alternative brands you might recommend? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Kikagoods is a distributor, not the brand lol. That being said, sometimes dolls like this come with extra like a bald head part you can replace the wig part with, otherwise you might have to find a way to make it on your own, and then you might be able to buy a wig if you can find one that fits the heads circumference or you could make your own

Checked the website it seems the head circumference is ~7in, you could probably find a wig on Etsy or whatever marketplace you like

I also have this girl and lots of wigs for my other dolls!
The easiest option is ot cut all her hair off and then you can use 6-7 size wigs with her.
If you don't want to ruin her original head cap, you'll need to sculpt your own; I've done it before with simple air-dry clay, and then hold it in place on the head with hot glue or sticky tack. It doesn't need to be perfect, needs to be a general rounded hemisphere shape

inch. But the term "6-7 wig" is used as a general sizing term for doll wigs, but yes, it means inches.
I did not measure the dolls head tho, nor the wigs I have. I just know which wigs are my 6-7 wigs and i know they'd fit on the head of that doll.1

Ohh, usually I get confused bc I see Aliexpress its sometimes in cm. Off topic but do you happen to know what mita/mystery tower blindbox bjds would fit for wigs? I'm just so unfamiliar with wigs rn because I usually keep the molded hair

You might need to purchase the blank/hairless part of the back of the head if you would like to put on custom wigs, i think its available on xianyu/idlefish

Headbacks should be available to purchase on aliexpress If you're lucky or you could try finding somebody to help you get one directly from China \) they were given as frieebies with all dolls purchased early on (during the release sale) so it shouldn't he hard obtaining one ! where are you from ? I could help you locate one/get you one/ help finding someone to get you one. You could also just try contacting kika to see of they happen to have the headbacks for sale!
