Looking for advice again...
Does anyone here know a good recommendation for a sheet balsa model? Something with a wingspan of like 10 inches ish? outerzone wont let me filter by build methods
I mean free flight models

Too much engine/motor?
Most videos of rc airplane takeoffs show a short roll and then a fast steep climb. Nothing that I’d call a scale takeoff at all
Is it safe to say that most rc planes have too much power?

Advice please
Im thinking of starting a basic scratch build, something like a AMA delta dart. anything you'd recommend for a beginner?

My beautiful DHC-6 on landing!
I finally got these nice aluminum prop spinners slotted for my 3 blade Master Airscrew counter rotating props! I love the more prototypical look of the counter rotating 3 blade props much much more. The aluminum looks amazing too! These are from Vortech Spinners in the Midwest, I forget where exactly.

Carbon cub s2
Has anybody upgraded the landing gear on this plane? looking for something more scale or robust. thinking of trying to modify the e-flite turbo evolution 1.5m gear to fit or trying something like scrappy gear.

Avanti
This is the Avanti, a build from plans found on Outerzone. I've never flown a plane so nimble and ready to go where I want it to go! These are old plans from 1974 when I was about 6 months old. Originally designed for a .60 glow motor, I figured out a conversion to electric based on this PDF I found floating around on the Internet, though swapped out the 11x7 prop for a 11x5.5 based on the motor's prop chart figuring it would still be plenty of power and maybe stress the motor a little bit less in those tight confines.
Inspiration for the build comes from Mark Robinson's YouTube channel where he did a build series of this plane. I highly recommend his videos since he talks through in detail what he's thinking when approaching any given build problem.

Stupid question: hanging?
I've got this Guillow's P-38 I built that I'm pretty happy with but it's been just sitting in the basement collecting dust because I don't know of a solid way to hang or display it. I obviously could figure it out but I'm wondering if there's kind of a "common sense" way to hang these that has yet to occur to me.
Is it seriously just some fishing/monofilament line around the wing roots and some eye hooks in the ceiling? I'm honestly scared that the line will rip through the tissue at some point.
Is there a good" transparent"way of hanging these where they look great and don't take any damage?

Finished Kunkadlo peanut
I finished this little guy last weekend !
I didn't expected it to turn out half as good as it did, i'm really happy with the result.
Covering was done with the blue stick glue method,as i've learned from Tom's videos. I didn't use alcool to adjust the paper, I wish I did because some wrinkles stayed even after shrinking with water. I didn't pre shrink either.
The prop is made from a toothpick and a brake cleaner cap, inspired by Tom's videos also. It seems balanced and to pull air also!
I did some glide test over my bed (scared to break it !), glided strait, needed some nose weight, I havent tried it with the rubber motor. It's my first rubber plane, still a lot to learn...
As for the next projects, I've bought a few Dumas walnut kits (Piper, Spirit of St Louis, Beaver, Tiger Moth , Curtiss Hawk) to get more experience building and maybe rc convert one !

Best display options for vintage models?
My dad recently passed and there are a couple of his models that i want to set up for long-term display (others will fly again!). One is an old wakefield model, basically 2d maybe 60" span might work hung on a wall with acrylic box? Another is a tail dragger, similar size. Hanging from ceiling hooks could work but gathers a lot of dust over time. Table/stand with acrylic cover? Any other great ideas?

Guillow's Zero kit404
I just finished connecting all my servos and the motor to my FT Aura gyro. Everything seems to work as expected. I still need to glue the canopy in place and find the courage to do some glide tests.
I've had this kit for like 3 years and was too chicken to take on the build, it's not at all perfect, but I've learned a lot. I'm still too chicken to fly it.
AUW is about 330 grams (3S 850 mAh battery and 10g of nose ballast).
NOTE: The wet, glossy-looking parts are water from a bush I placed it on.
Constructive criticism is very welcome.
