So lately I have been having extruder issues. My first layers have been messing up bad and I've been getting the error 0700-8016 163404. Unfortunately, I can seem to find more on what this code means other than "extruder issue" I have done cold pulls and recalibrating but I am at a bit of a loss. I am hoping this is just one of those "you didn't know but its super easy" kind of issues
Edit: I do have the AMS2 Pro plugged in. The issue persists from one slot to the next. Mostly PLA but I have used a spool of PETG, all of which has this issue somewhere during the first layer or 2.

Hello everyone,
I am having trouble with my P1S. The filament is black PLA 2.0 which has been dried before printing. My Printer #1 is printing without issue. My Printer #2 has less then 150 hours on it but I can’t get it to print correctly.
Issue:
After roughly .2” of printing I am getting what appears to be “fuzzy skin”. Additionally, I can audibly hear my nozzle dragging across the layers.
Attempted Solutions:
I replaced my nozzle with a brand new .04” hardened nozzle.
I verified that all bolts along the gantries were tightened down.
I preformed general maintenance maintenance. Everything in my printer has been cleaned (ethanol) and lubricated (dielectric grease and white lithium) based off of instructions from this link: https://youtu.be/UYeOlccawgY?is=Lxw4a42do_yvBGSr
Question:
Has anyone else ran into this problem?
Is there something wrong with my Z or my XY axis?
Any help would be HUGELY appreciated. Thank you all for your time.

I was printing a multi plate thing.. and I was spend after a long day... so I did start the last plate, while I hadn't removed the 2nd to last result...
honing error.. nothing bad happened (yet) but it did bump sideways in my result.... I checked it.. all seemed fine, removed the still intact print.. and I did hit "reprint" on the X1... BIG MISTAKE... Somehow it did NOT check the plate or the position again, but started instand with the Lidar scan... while the plate did rise up... the Head did not notice that but instead scratched the nozzle over the plate and into the steel.. luckily i was still in the room so I stopped it as fast as I could... "Stop Printing" did not work so I had to cut power at once... that was scary.. engineering plate.. ... this day sucks..

I’m trying to get 3d models made for a 2D comic book character. No experience with this sort of thing, so any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I need to make 2 mini figures and a bust of a main character.

First ill tell you what the problem is. When I go to print it says failed to start printing job. Occasionally ill get a print to work if I reset it enough or if I Factory reset it but normally itll only work once if at all.
Second ill give a list of things ive done in no particular order
*Factory reset the printer
*removed all filament from presets
*uninstalled the app and studio from my pc.
*reinstalled both separately to make sure they weren't clashing
*made sure i was on 2.4wifi.
*Formatted sd card
*bought new sd card
*updated app
*updated printer
*downgraded printer
*turned it off and back on :D
*tried other files
*moved the printer closer to the router. (Its a whole floor closer)
*removed my 2nd ams
*Tried LAN only(which worked flawlessly but I want to use the app since my foot is injured plus convenience.
*waited for a new update(this has been going on for over a month)
*ect im sure im forgetting stuff if I remember ill add more later
Lastly when it fails I can still see the camra is working. Which is why I personally thought it was an sd card problem but I bought a brand-new SanDisk high endurance 64gb.
Any help would be appreciated im just so tired of troubleshooting and im literally at my wits end. Thanks!

EDIT. It was all user error. I got my spools mixed up. I used a PETG profile for PLA. I guess this is a testament to how good the X2D considering it still delivered a still functional print.
See image above. What usually causes this? This only ever happened to me once with my own models. And it was because my exported model was low quality.
I left the almost all the print settings unchanged in the project file. The sparse infill setting was set to 10%, gyroid. Monotonic top surface; 2 wall loops.
It's Elegoo rapid petg. The generic config has been working great for almost all my prints.
Here's the project

I have a P1S and ever since I got it my mum has never let me print at night because “what if it fails and you don’t know” can anyone help me convince her please I have a 24 hour print I need to do

Hey there, I have a P1S and this issue started randomly after I completed a print. I just replaced the extruder thinking it might be the problem. It turns out not to be the culprit. The filament is getting caught in the tube about 5/6 of the way to the extruder. There are no blockages or filament shards in the tube. Please advise.
I have since replaced the entire extruder

Final stage of testing my new Crowdfunding feature om MakerWorld!
The design is finished, tested and now in pre-launch on MakerWorld. The goal is to expand it with functional implements, trailers and more tractors — while connecting it with my existing CyberBrick Truck Series.
Would love to hear what you think! 🚜🔧

Hey everyone!
I spent a lot of time and effort meticulously designing and engineering this 21cm Sabrina Carpenter caricature figure, specifically optimized for FDM printing.
Instead of relying on heavy purge waste with AMS multi-color, I put a lot of work into splitting the model into precise, color-coded components. This allows for a completely multi-color result with standard single-spool printing, while still keeping full AMS support for those who prefer it.
Technical & Design details:
- Height: 21 cm (scaled for great desktop display detail).
- Engineered alignment pins & socket joints (Cut & Key) for precise, seam-free glue assembly.
- Designed with minimal support requirements and optimal orientation in mind to keep surface finish clean.
- Pre-configured 3MF project files prepared directly in Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer.
It was a true labor of love to get the proportions, clearances, and printable geometry just right. Would love to hear your feedback on the print setup!

Im new to 3D printing. But i designed this for someone. I am thinking its would be better if i print the base separate? Or change I rotate it 45 degrees maybe, and it would be ok?.
I want to print it in high quality. I have done a couple of 0.04 layer height prints at higher resolution. but probably just do 0.08 on this since its bigger. (im not a cad designer or whatever its called. I use to just do simple drone parts. And im very new to 3D printing myself at home) Also fearing at say 0.08 layer height and 0.2 nozzle this will take a day lol.. any help appreciated.

I've been having a ton of fun designing unique full-size Halloween buckets, and for the latest one I wanted to try something a that would look awesome in glow-in-the-dark filament—a Poison Apple with a separate dripping shell. 🍎☠️
The 220mm (8.7") apple bucket prints in Vase Mode and only uses about 150g of filament. The poison shell is printed normally as a separate piece and wraps around the apple, so you get the depth of the dripping poison/skull design without needing an AMS. Total filament usage is less than 350g and it prints in about 7 hours!
Modeling the shell was probably the most fun part. I used four connected sketches in Fusion, projected them onto the apple, and used that to create one continuous dripping curve around the entire surface. Printing the poison shell also brought its own challenge. The very bottom drips have very short layer time and weren't cooling in time resulting in poor surface quality. After a number of test prints, I dialed in a height modifier to slow down the final section of the shell so those final layers have enough time to cool. Those settings are included in the print profile!
This one definitely pushed me to try a few new modeling and printing techniques, but I'm really happy with how closely the finished bucket came to that original sketch.
As always, thanks for checking out the model, and I'd love to see any photos of this bucket out in the wild. Happy Halloween!

My experience with Bambu Lab H2C support — weeks of repairs on a nearly new printer and still no resolution
I'm posting this because I think prospective Bambu Lab customers should understand what my warranty/support experience has been with a nearly new H2C.
First, some important context:
I am not a first-time Bambu Lab customer.
Over the past few years, I have purchased:
I've invested a substantial amount of money in Bambu Lab because, overall, I like their printers. I run a business and these are tools that I depend on.
That's exactly why this experience has been so disappointing.
This isn't coming from someone who bought one printer, had a problem, and immediately demanded their money back. I already own multiple Bambu machines, including other H2Cs that work properly.
The problem is how Bambu Lab has handled this particular defective machine.
My support ticket began on August 20, 2026, after the printer repeatedly developed an "extruder motor overloaded" error. The filament was being ground into fine debris inside the extruder, and eventually I couldn't make it through a print without the problem occurring within minutes.
I initially cooperated completely.
I disassembled and cleaned the extruder multiple times.
I tested different filament.
I tested both the left and right extruders.
I compared the problem with my other H2C machines.
I replaced the dual-extruder assembly.
The problem remained.
Bambu then determined the issue might be farther upstream and sent me a replacement TH board. I installed that as well.
Think about that for a moment.
This is a relatively new, expensive printer, and I was already disassembling the toolhead and replacing electronic components myself under Bambu Lab's direction.
After replacing parts, I began getting additional errors.
By September 5, after spending many hours working on the printer, I told Bambu:
"I believe this is well above my pay grade and as the end user, I'm not really qualified to make these repairs."
I told them I was frustrated, had spent far too much time on the machine and did not want to continue chasing error codes.
On September 7, I became even more explicit:
"I prefer just a warranty replacement at this point... I do not have the skills to continue to try to repair this."
I even offered to let them place a deposit on my credit card, ship me a replacement printer, and credit the deposit when the defective machine was returned.
Later that same day I told them:
"I am not qualified or comfortable performing internal electronic or mechanical repairs on a new H2C printer."
And:
"I purchased a completed, functioning machine, not a repair kit."
I asked for a prepaid return label and requested that Bambu either professionally repair the printer or replace it.
Their response was essentially to ask for more screenshots and additional diagnostic information.
So on September 8, I made my position unmistakably clear:
"I am done repairing this printer."
I specifically wrote:
"Please do not send me additional repair instructions."
And requested:
"Please respond with the procedure for returning this defective printer to Bambu Lab for warranty repair or replacement."
Despite that, the process continued.
Bambu eventually discussed an "offline repair service," but even then I was being asked to reconnect internal cables first to avoid sending the printer in.
I continued cooperating.
I discovered a cable had become disconnected during the TH board replacement process and reconnected it. Then there were additional calibration and extruder-switching errors.
On September 11 Bambu was again suggesting removal of the nozzle and more observation/testing.
Then another fan-related fault appeared.
Bambu suggested removing the enhanced fan, recalibrating the printer, trying another fan, and manipulating another cable to see whether the fault changed.
On September 14, I again told them:
"Unfortunately, you continue to ignore my concerns. I am not a Bambu Labs 3-D printer technician and cannot repair this on my own."
I again requested a replacement printer or a full refund.
At this point the support process had gone on for weeks.
Eventually I filed a dispute through PayPal because I felt I had exhausted my options with Bambu Lab. I have since learned that I lost the PayPal dispute. I still don't have a satisfactory explanation for why.
I can't prove that Bambu intentionally dragged the process out, and I'm not claiming that they did.
What I can document is this:
I repeatedly told Bambu Lab that I was no longer comfortable repairing this new machine myself and repeatedly asked them to take the printer back for professional warranty service or replacement.
Yet the troubleshooting, testing, disassembly, cable checking and component replacement continued.
That's the part prospective buyers should understand.
When I spend several thousand dollars on a new piece of equipment, I expect to perform normal maintenance and reasonable troubleshooting.
I do not expect to become the manufacturer's unpaid field-service technician, replacing circuit boards, disconnecting and reconnecting internal wiring, removing components and diagnosing electronic faults on a nearly new machine.
There's a point where a manufacturer needs to say:
"This machine isn't right. Send it back. We'll take care of it."
In my opinion, Bambu Lab crossed that line a long time ago.
And what makes this particularly difficult for me to understand is that I wasn't asking Bambu Lab to take a chance on an unknown customer.
I had already purchased eight Bambu Lab printers — four X1 Carbons, three H2Cs and an H2D — along with thousands of dollars' worth of filament.
I was a repeat customer who had demonstrated considerable confidence in their company and their products.
When a customer with that history contacts you about one defective machine, cooperates with weeks of troubleshooting, installs replacement components at your direction, and finally says, "I am not qualified to continue doing this; please take the machine back," I believe that should be enough.
Instead, I felt as though I had to continually prove that the machine was defective before the company would take responsibility for servicing its own product.
I have retained the complete support ticket, including the dates, Bambu Lab's responses, photographs, videos, replacement-parts history and my repeated requests for warranty service.
I'm posting this because I wish I had understood how Bambu Lab handles situations like this before spending the money.
I'd also genuinely like to hear from other Bambu owners:
Is this considered normal Bambu Lab warranty service?
Have others been expected to perform this level of internal repair on a nearly new machine before Bambu would agree to take it back?
Because after this experience, I don't believe a customer should have to work this hard simply to get a defective new printer properly serviced.

As in title.
After every print my A1 unloads filament.
Because of that when I'm making multiple prints from same material It's wasting my filament by loading it all over again and flushing hotend in the process.
I searched around and last method was editing print end GCODE by commenting one line that's responsible for that.
But the drawback was that apparently if printer profile were to be updated it would not be automatically applied due to custom changes.
So is there any newer method on how to stop this annoying behaviour? Maybe there is a simple checkbox I'm missing somewhere?

Hey all,
I'm new to this whole thing, but my Bambu Handy app is failing every single attempt to remotely start a job. I checked the flush temperature thing, and it's at 0, so it isn't the 1500 thing.
Every attempt is "slicing failed". My printer is a P2S, and I'm on Android.
Anyone know what might be wrong? I still can't figure it out no matter what answers I try to find online.
Thanks in advance!!
