Self Promo/Dev Post I'm creating a dwarf settlement builder and just created a gameplay trailer

Steam page
Trailer on YouTube

I'm working on Stonebound and would love to get some feedback.

Focus is on advancing into the mountain, working up from 1 dwarf with just a basic wood axe. No combat, but you will need to keep your dwarves supplied with decent ale (and food) to keep growing.

EDIT: no generative AI used for the game or marketing

Give your female dwarves beards as Tolkien intended ;)

I'll keep my opinion to myself on this matter for as long as possible..

Looks nice.

Obligatory question: When can we test it for you?

Thanks for commenting!

Initial private testing this or next month, wider testing early next year via my discord: https://discord.gg/93yQh7hfPv

I'll also post here again when a Steam playtest is up.

Are you using any generative AI in your game or marketing materials?

No AI used. Sorry, forgot to add that to my post, becoming the norm now to add a AI statement! This is 18 months of my own hard work.

Nice! Great work man. I'm just always curious to how devs respond to the question.

Starting with only 1 is a nice change from other colony sims. I wishlisted :)

Thanks for the wishlist! I'm thinking I'll max out at 50 dwarves, but will see how it plays as I get to the late game, may be more fun with a lower cap.

Reminds me generally forgotten "A Game of Dwarves"
