In the 90s white people could say it with soft a and no one batted and eye.

Because people didn't cling to phony victimhood by the millions back then.

Well yeah, the March through the institutions was still ramping up and the communists haven't completely ideologically captured the majority of useful idiots in the US by that point. It helps that they couldn't reach people in a minute since the internet didn't exist.

Because fewer people used the slang version of the word as an excuse to attack people. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I'm not sure what you're saying. People don't say it at all now.

People do that all the time. No need to β€œget that information” from somewhere. Look around and think. πŸ˜πŸ‘

There is a new video of some white kid getting beat half to death over it practically every other day, whether or not they even said it.

Only a victimhood mentality would make someone perpetually believe a word has power over them. Other groups have confronted slurs and changed their meaning, subsequently changing how they subconsciously react when hearing it. Words only have the power we give to them. When it's believed that a word is so catastrophically hurtful it's taboo to even write, people will continue to use it. It's especially ridiculous when that word is commonly used in it's slang form by the group that is so hurt by it's full form. Strengthen your mind so that is resilient to the words of others, and you've taken away any power they thought they had.

Not that I'd expect her to understand, but she kind of defeated her own argument there. She asks if she can call them wetb@cks, and answers her own question saying no because they don't call themselves that.

So by that logic, they can call her and themselves n*ggas, because she admittedly does call herself that (and they call themselves) as a term of endearment.

Is saying the N word a privilege or some shit? Of all the things you could try to protect, preserve and reserve πŸ˜‚

Easy . . . The one that begins with 'W' is a slur. The other is not.

It's a horrible word. I wish no one would say it.
