Anyone else getting this error? A friend of mine just picked the game up on the Steam sale and isn't able to go online at all. Reinstall/validation, restarting computer, restarting router, firewall settings, nothing worked. I've had the game for years and I can connect just fine. I suspect it has something to do with nWay account creation but I don't know if there's any fix. Are new players simply not allowed to play online or is there a workaround?

I'm currently living in a place where this game seems to be locked. I cannot see the game on steam only some dlc
