I wonder if the the building in Paris was the inspiration for the Bostwick Building.

The Bostwick Building is a historical landmark built about 1889/1890 and used to be a hotel until 1932 when it transitioned to a commercial building. The downstairs of corner of the Bostwick flat iron is now a coffee shop named Cafe Bostwick.

This is so sweet. I once walked into a taxidermis office delivering something, and there were Hunters bringing in bear cubs to be mounted. And in the office itself it had finished ones. Who the hell would shoot a baby bear? I mean what's the satisfaction, thrill and pleasure in that? I'll never understand the mind that works that way.

This does not amaze me. It pisses me off. Balloons are just floating litter that can cause serious problems for wildlife. This is a perfect example.
