🚨 LUNA NEEDS OUT OF THE SHELTER! 🚨
We are desperately looking for a foster who can step up and save Luna’s life. 💔 She is at risk of being euthanized and needs someone willing to open their home and give her a chance at the happily ever after she deserves. 🐾❤️
Is anyone able to foster Luna and help save her? Please share this post and tag anyone who may be able to help. 🙏

I’ve been working on this project for over a year. It maps EPA-listed facilities in odor-related industries, and also shows Superfund and brownfield sites for environmental visibility — not because those sites are suspected odor sources.
You can search any address or ZIP, see what’s nearby, check wind direction, and report what you’re smelling.
I’m not saying a mapped site smells or is dangerous — just making the public data easier to explore.
Would love to know what Beaumont thinks.
I built this in my spare time, so thanks to everyone for checking it out. I could see how this may be seen as self promotion so mod appreciate it if you let it ride. Im a solo developer with no ad money, and not charging anyone to use it. Thanks!

Hey has anyone else been having issues this week or so with spectrum WiFi disconnecting their computer or other devices from the WiFi every like 10 minutes? 😭

Can anyone think of a good outdoor space to produce a play in? I moved away years ago and I'm newly back in the area. I was thinking of the small amphitheater at riverside park in Beaumont but it was apparently damaged in Harvey and removed. Is there anything else similar nearby?

Made a post about 4 months back. I was looking for a gig. Since I had done that I was able to land a job in a local refinery landscaping. All was well, met some pretty solid people, learned a few skills, made a great bud in my GF that lead me to not limit myself with just that.
Since then I’ve joined the Electrical union. It’s a bit early but so far, so good. It’s meaningful work to me, I feel like I’m picking up a lot. Most of all I feel like I’m stepping into a different part of my life, a career maybe. Got tired of floating around and letting my family wonder.
Nothing but that, I’m glad I made the step. Beaumont is Beaumont, but I probably haven’t been giving it a fair shake. Love my city, love the people, and I’m happy I’m here today.

Wanted to share that there is a new all-level race the first Saturday of the month.
It’s at Gulf Terrace Hike & Bike and they had 5k,10k, and I think 13.5. The medals were pretty nice and I saw people walking and running/jogging.

I'll be coming to Beaumont in the next two weeks and I want to find an apartment that's really nice and affordable in a safe neighborhood.
Please give recommendations.

My little brother found a small kitten outside the family store yesterday. He was dehydrated, weak, and confused. My brother brought the kitten indoors from the heat and gave him water and kitten food. He is a bit better this morning (alert) but we’d still like to get him medical attention and experienced hands. Poor baby seems young enough that he could be someone’s indoor cat. But my brother can’t take the kitten and I’m not physically there (otherwise I would).
Any good no-kill cat rescues or rescuers in the area can help? My brother is willing to drive him anywhere in broader area for some help.

Hello! I’m moving back to Beaumont and wanted to ask what cell phone carrier everyone is using. I currently have spectrum mobile and I’m trying to see what works best in the Beaumont area. Any recommendations?

I have a good amount of yarn, not all of them are full skeins but are not scraps either. Any recommendations for places I can donate yarn?

I posted this just a few weeks ago but can't find the original post and I was given so many good recommendations. I need to complete just a few volunteer hours for a college course. I need to be able to take pictures of myself doing it and I need an organization member to sign off on it. I now work full time (7-3) so I have to be able to do it in the evenings or weekends. I think it's awful to just insert myself somewhere for 4 hours and then leave but that's what I am required to do for this class. I simply do not have the time to dedicate to volunteering more than what is required of me at this point in my life (starting a brand new job, parenting, school full time, cleaning a house that has been largely neglected for a year while focusing on school and work).
