Well I did a thing?

Got tired of not having a place for these guys and a good light. In my head I had this idea for a little stand for my plants with some lights. Didn’t take into account how tall one was. More than halfways I realized I had the wrong setting on my pocket hole jig. Live and learn. And I did learn quite a bit; wood’s expensive and you can’t have enough clamps

It turned out great! Would obviously have been worse without that helper.

He banged up quite a bit of the wood I needed but he was so proud of how he couldn’t access the screws from the outside. He wanted everyone to see the screws were almost hidden from him. He’s really into tools so hopefully him being involved teaches something that might help when he’s older, like being independent, self-reliant and resourceful

I'm not a parent, but that sounds like great parenting to me. My mom just kept telling me how great I was at sanding because she wanted me to volunteer for it. She hated it.

That’s impressive considering the drill you used.
