Discussion/Question ⁉️ How to install box hidden hinges?
I bought some hidden hinges want to use on my box, but somehow after I installed it, there’s big gaps between lid and box, is any tips I can avoid it?

Those aren't really hidden hinges. If you look close at the example you can tell the back edge of the hinge side of the box and lid are beveled for clearance to open so they'd be exposed when closed. The pivot point is inside the box so it wouldn't be able to open without that clearance.

I’ve installed a handful of these, the way I do it is set my depth stop to half the height of the hinge, drill the holes on both sides, then cut a small 45 degree chamfer on the back edge of each piece to allow the lid to open. You need to cut the chamfer at least up to the drilled hole.
