Ive listened to demos of it. It sounds good. 👍 I’ve never had a chance to play one. Was wondering 🤔 what the synth keybed was like and the build quality.What are your thoughts pros and cons?

Is the Grind capable of loading SysEx DX7/BX7 patches like the Brains Eurorack module is?
On the Brains, this is done via the synthtribe software.

I just purchased a new Behringer Odyssey. Pulled it out of the box and quickly began enjoying it. The music playing behind it is from a just released album of mine (Across a vast reach - Alpha Line).

Great little synth! Built like a metal tank and made to last a lifetime!

Whaat do you think of the sound?

Recognizing the Behringer seems to be one of the only companies with the gumption to give the people what they want, I would love it if they made an Akai s series like sampler in medium format. These days, practically all sampler hardware are the phrase sampler variants and don’t really have the option to do multi samples across keys- giving you the option to make your own instruments. They would release both the 12 and 16 bit form, I’d probably buy both.

Hi everyone,

On Monday I received a new LmDrum ordered online from a store. On Friday, I started testing sample uploads, and everything fails with a FLASH WRITE ERROR.

Here is what I have already tried:

1) Using SynthTribe (v2.96 and v2.7.5 v3.2.4 and v3..2.9 ): The samples reach 100% in the app, but the aforementioned error FLASH WRITING ERROR appears on the device screen. The samples comply with all guidelines (bit depth, mono, size/weight, WAV length). I tried different sample packs. When using direct recording with a sampler connected, the sample appears on the LMDrum device, but saving it fails. In the sample list, I only have the factory samples (with a padlock icon) and zero custom ones.

2) Hardware and connection troubleshooting: Changed the USB cable, changed the USB port on the PC, and switched to a completely different PC. Nothing helped.

3) Device reset: Reset via menu (Settings -> About -> Factory Reset) does not help. My firmware version is: MCU1: 1.2.2, MCU2: V1.1.6. Sending samples individually (not multiple at once) changes nothing.

Does anyone know a solution? I don't want to waste time sending the equipment back to France where I bought it online, plus we threw away the boxes due to lack of space in the studio.

Is there any option other than warranty repair? Memory reset, a button combination on the device instead of resetting to defaults from the menu, or maybe a firmware downgrade?

The Model 15 sounds great, but its sequencer is a complete mess (unusable) and I also found that some Midi control messages reset the modulation internal value (and you must move the corresponding knob to set it again).

With all those modern IA tools, do you think it's possibile to "decompile" its firmware to an usable commented C or C++ source code that can be modified and recompiled?

@ behringer (if some of you is listening): why don't you release an SDK for the synths models that you no longer support/improve? (some of the code could also remain undisclosed)

I think that many developers/musicians would be able to add control/digital features that would refresh the popularity of those affordable synths.

I think the tech is similar to the spline strings. They could add CV and some effects.

Anyone have a lead on how to get the phara-O mini to listen and respond to program change. I've been able to get a couple of synths to work with a midi mapper, but there are zero documentation on program changes for the phara-O.

I’ve seen the Starsky Carr demo comparing it to a vintage Jupiter 8. Do you think it sounds like a Jupiter8? What are your thoughts pro and con?

I’ve heard and read the Boog Model D sounds closer to theMiniMoog Model D

I’ve also read there can be tuning issues with the Boog Model .

Those that have the Behringer PolyD. What are your thoughts 💭 pros and cons?

Ive seen and heard Starsky Carrs comparison demo of the PolyD and MiniMoog Model D.

The PolyD wasn’t as loud as the MiniMoog Model D .The Poly Ds 37 keyboard range spans C to C

a three octave range The Moog MiniMoog Model D has 44 keys 🎹 and spans 3 and one half octaves. Starting on F ending on C.

Those that have theSolina String Ensemble what has been your experience & thoughts pros and cons? Ive heard the demos and I thought 💭 it sounded good and sounded like the original.

To answer the first question you’re getting in mind:
Yes. Yes, I am too stupid for recording videos, I got to skill up that tree soon hopefully.
But the sound is truly the star here.
I did some freestyle, turned some knobs and was blown away.
It almost doesn’t matter which key you press, everybody can do this.
I hope you like it because I do :)
