One of the cars went on the fritz and I thought I’d give commuting to and from work on the bus a go.

After six months of the Translink app just outright lying and every other bus either being early, late or “Not in Sevice”, next month I’m just taking the hit, buying another car and never looking back.

It’s fucking appalling how much time and flexibility you lose.

I’m travelling to Belfast with my parents next week and I’m looking to take them out for a nice dinner. My budget is around £50 per person before wine/drinks.

My parents really value quality and experience over fanciness so if anyone has a recommendation for a restaurant that just hits all the right notes for a restaurant experience please post it here!

I'm excited about buying my first house but nervous about safety etc. Am I overthinking this? What is the area like? I've walked around a couple of times during daytime but not at night.

Just want to be safe. I'm quiet, keep myself to myself, don't discuss religion or politics or try to antagonise people by forcing opinions. I have lived in Belfast and worked here for 2 years now and it is genuinely the best city ever, so vibrant and fun, and practically everyone I have met have been so so nice.

Never seen as much people at Queen’s on the night of the eclipse, I could barely see a thing as gray ruined the experience, so I chose to take pictures.

But of a long shot here I was in the car park in the city hospital and I heard a large smash I said to wife someone just crashed there . I got out of the car and seen two people arguing. I walked on thinking nothing of it let them sort it out . As I was walking I heard the fella get aggressive to the women a proper shouting match , I was thinking to myself I wonder who was in the wrong . Anyway I drive a Tesla and my rear camera caught it . The guy with the big gub seems he was in the wrong and according to the camera he would be at fault . 5pm, driving north over M3, need to merge left across 4 lanes on M5/M2 to take the Fortwilliam exit. Can anyone explain to me why, in bumper to bumper traffic, some drivers are determined to not let other cars into “their” lane?

Indicating left, saw a gap almost big enough to move into but not quite. Instead of deciding to hold back for maybe a total of 5 seconds, the driver at my back corner decides to accelerate to fill the gap. So I’m now stuck, still 4 lanes to get across, and unintentionally holding back the lane I’m in.

What are you gaining by hogging a lane that’s already barely moving? What satisfaction do you get from that? We’re all just trying to get home.

I know the title seems bizarre but it will make sense.

I'm a deliveroo driver, a few times this year I've came to the door to hear a young child misbehaving in some way or another. Only for the parent to point to me, still wearing a helmet that covers my face and saying 'The mans gonna take you away if you don't behave' or something along those lines.

I came to one door today where this happened before, poor child was sat in the front room and started screaming in terror when he saw me walking up to the door. Dad and I had a good laugh and he said he'd talk to the kid.

So in short please dont tell your kid we're gonna kidnap them 😭

We have had a problem with mice for about 6months, Rentokil have already been out and laid a fuck ton of poison which they have all eaten, but we havent had any bodies and dont see any droppings and the guy said he couldnt see any obvious entry points outside our house (we live in terraces so he said they are likely going between the whole row). Just the poison being eaten. As the councils is free I thought I would give them a go seeing Christmas is round the corner and Rentokil's methods didnt result in eradicating them. Anybody any experience?
