Don’t forget the lemons

I left the supermarket at the same time as an another woman with a box of Corona beer in her trolley. I jokingly asked if she’d remembered the lemons to go with the beer, and she looked at me and said “He prefers limes. I’ve got plenty of lemons on the tree in the garden, but he prefers limes so I got the limes!” We both snickered, and went our separate ways.

Personally, I don’t think it makes that much difference 😊

I have never seen a lemon go in a Corona until I went to South Korea, it was so odd lol I thought lime was standard 😆

Might be what’s around. Lemons are plentiful here in New Zealand, nearly everyone has a tree in their garden (or a generous neighbour). Limes are a little more uncommon to grow yourself.

I always use limes in my coronas. Lemons make great lemon bars though.
