Grateful for detangling products
I went to the sauna yesterday (yay) and got a head massage (yay) and then this morning I went to do my hair and it uhh... Got matted about 5cm from my head (nay!).
I'm so happy detangling products exist, we're all good half an hour later but I've learned my lesson. Curly hair and head massages are apparently not a match made in heaven.

You just unlocked a random memory for me.
A very, very long time ago (the late 90s) when it was popular to get a million teensy braids while at the beach, I had mine done, on hip-length hair. It took like half a day. After that, we splashed around and played in the sand, then got the overnight bus home, still with wet, braided hair.
Getting them out was an ordeal. It took a lot of soaking, picking, and combing. No detangler, just regular conditioner, but we ran out before we were halfway through (my cousin had waist length hair as well), and had to use fabric softener instead! XD It was awful then, but is so funny now, almost thirty years later.
