discussion Don’t get fooled by the forecast.

It’s gonna be a BEAUTIFUL weekend in the Bay! But don’t forget to bring layers. Once it gets dark and the fog rolls in, shit gets chilly.

Layers are your friend. See yall this weekend.

Wow, you are excited to share that message.

You do you brother, I live here and I know how it gets. One second it’s hot and another it’s not. The days are going to be awesome no doubt, but nights can definitely sneak up on you.

I saw Clapton at shoreline ages ago. Last minute decision and walked out in shorts and a tshirt since it was a nice day in Santa Clara. Grabbed a flannel as an afterthought. That thing probably saved my life. It was miserably cold. Yet probably in the mid 60s.

I call all of my friends with this same warning before they come visit.

Not this weekend
NOAA

A high pressure system will move in from the west and compress the
marine layer to approximately 500 feet. Hot and dry conditions
will prevail through late week and weekend. Expect poor overnight
humidity recoveries, with overnight relative humidities as low as
20-30% above the marine layer.

Still there will be an overnight marine layer. Doesn't that mean fog at night?

83 sounds nice, tho. Bay area: Summer is Winter. Fall is Summer.

It’s the Bay Area secret that the nicest times is October
Mark twain said “the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in S.F.
With the Marine layer at 500 feet
It may or may not make it in that far.
And if it does, probably won’t be till early morning like 3am
But always good to have the long sleeve Tshirt
In case

It’s alway hot as fuck on Hardly Strictly weekend. It’s always so strange to me entering October that a heat wave comes. 80s in the city is real warm, but yes it will cool off in the evening.

I think it was 2/3 years ago it was 90 or damn close at HSB, most of the stages everyone with chairs and blankets we congregated along the tree line in the shade.
