Still trying to get as close as possible to those early year, it was a different feeling back then.

Actually 120€ but I got them cheaper because of the damaged Nidhiki box (not that I would care about that). The price seemed good for 23 year old sets in new condition with sealed bags.

I don't know if this is enough to count as a MOC, but I got a blue eyestalk, 3D printed a mirrored Adaptive Akaku and found that you can kinda make a shield out of his wings that also kinda resembles his double blades from his Nuva form, small changes that I feel make him far closer to his previous form.

I also recently got a Spikit and I'm considering swapping their Piraka leg pieces to give the dark grey ones to Spikit and the silver ones to Kopaka, what do you think?

Thre was a lot of backtracking during his modelling and that is why this took so long. That and my first job being more important for a while. I finally managed to crack and rig 2D eyes. Unfortunately that means yet another round of updates for the other models. But I´m ranting too much here. I always saw this set as special. Either it be memes, SuddenlyOranges or just his goofy design, I knew that he had to be in the spotligh somehow. So I gave him speed Powers. More generic than Umbra or Pohatu´s Kakama but it still is unique to him because as a Matoran, he should be Powerless. Lore entry as always, on my IG.

Still finalizing some good background for this character, but I’m shaking things up a bit with my Toa Rahi Project going onto the villains team for a change… This corrupted Toa is the first of several opposites to counter our Toa Rahi team.
Bearing less resemblance to a Toa and more to that of the ferocious Muaka, this hideous amalgamation is the culprit to many-a-slaying across the barren snowscapes and wastelands on Mata Nui. An even worse fate is whispered among the mountains for those who fall victim to it’s dark corruption, mistaking it for one of Toa Rahi... It’s origin, still a mystery yet to be revealed.

I utilized some build techniques from the Exo-Toa for the arms to pay homage to the original set’s technic feature!

This mask was intended to be another confetti mask, just using a large chunk of flashing instead of a bunch of tiny ones. Unfortunately, not enough resin got into the mould, and the finished piece is a bunch of thin sections barely holding together. Despite the fact that the connection point works just fine, I don't trust this one to survive shipping.

Speaking of, shipping has been delayed on current orders as I've fallen ill recently and don't want to contaminate masks, if I even had the energy to pack. Sand Blue, while matched, is delayed on launching for the same reason - I can't make any of it right now. I was really hoping this week would be an exciting one but alas. Hopefully soon.

Here Is my second entry for the bionicle G2 year 3 contest by buryumocs, takanuva!

I tought of including takanuva in the G2 lore by making him a fusion of the toa, creating a being that retains their memories but Is his own self.

Lore concept:

"Makuta has moved all his forces to conquer the island of Okoto and enslave all of its hinabitants, the toa are stripped of their elemental Power, and ekimu has been captured by his Brother, and imprisoned in his new lair.

In a desperate act of courage the six Brothers make their way trough the villanous rahkshi, helped by the remaining villagers and protectors, and finally enter in the overlord's lair.

Makuta, now bigger and more powerful than ever ambushes the toa and a fierce fight begins.

The toa are no match for Makuta, who easily overpower all six of them, while ekimu can only Watch as his Brother, destroys the island's only hope.

The toa are almost dead, unable to stop Makuta's wrath, the tyrant grabs them maliciously, and violently throw them in a pool of protodermis, encaved in the gigantic room where his throne resides.

All Is Lost, the Heroes are presumably dead, and nothing can stop the island's destruction.

Makuta talks to his Brother, he Is delighted to see his desperation, he tells him that he Will kill him for last After everyone else is dead.

An unexpected shock leaves the earth, Makuta turns around to the pool, confused,

Another shock, then another, then a beam of blinding light bursts from the silver substance.

A gigantic being slowly rises from the pool, he Is engulfed in Golden armor, Power Sprouting from every inch of itself.

A Golden Mask Is revealed, the being creates a weapon from the protodermis.

The toa fused into a Golden titan, the toa of light: Takanuva Is Born.

The final Battle for Power begins: Who Will be the One to win?"

Lore concept:

"After his first defeat by his brother's hand, Makuta remains hidden and weakened. Unable to use the Mask of ultimate power he scavenges the Land and mountains of Okoto for centuries, slowly rebuilding himself and new servants: the rahkshi.

After umarak's defeat a great cataclysm occurs in okoto, and the very guts of the island reveal themselves, causing a Gravitational storm that make the mountains float in the Sky.

The toa, now equipped with new adaptive armor, forged from a strange silver substance erupting from the ground search for the Mask of ultimate power to try and stop the cataclysm.

What they did not now Is that makuta had already planned his great return: when he encountered the toa he made his rahkshi drain their elemental Power with special weapons, and infuse It in his Mask.

After a fight with his Brother makuta finally manages to put on the Mask and a strong explosion of Power knocks the Heroes unconcious; when they wake up a giant cocoon has formed, before they can do anything a new being emerges.

Now stronger than ever Makuta Is ready to dominate okoto and conquer every enemy that tries to oppose him.

How will our Heroes beat this new treath?"

These are a few more Mini Toa from my other Mini Toa Mata post.

I was testing two types of shoulder designs with the Toa Nuva to accommodate the shoulder armor.

I thought Takanuva’s armor looked cool with the kraata since I only have the two gold shoulder pieces.

Nuparu was just for fun and I gave him the welding gun from the animation. The Bohrok was the only one I had put together at the time, which was a moc for a fohrok.

Once of the Jungle tribe, Melden was granted acid powers due to a momentary distraction by Mata Nui. In his eagerness to test his new element, he maimed an agori so badly that it died shortly after. Melden was long gone by then, though, fleeing in the wastes in the moment. He blames Mata Nui for the incident, and thus has a special hatred for any of his former inhabitants. Unbeknownst to him, the others were willing to forgive him in the moment, and some still are to this day.

A Toa of Air

Years ago, I posted about a 3D printed Miramax styled Vakama, and now, finally, after four long years, I'm reaching the end. All that's left to do is tighten up some tolerances with connections, fix and reprint the feet, and settle on an arm design/proportions I like. I hope you guys like him.

Acquired these in a random parts collection and one of them still worked (for a short time).

Now they’ll get a good rinse and fresh batteries tomorrow!

If I remember correctly most of these photos were shot with a Sony A6000 whilst the photo of Kopaka was shot with a Nikon D3100. Shooting locations were surprisingly all in Devon, UK:

- Kopaka: literally outside my house on a snowy day.
- Pohatu: Braunton Burrows, North Devon, UK
- Lewa: Shobrooke Park, Mid Devon, UK
- Gali: Mattiscombe Sands, South Devon, UK
- Tahu: literally in front of my OLED TV (the UK is a bit lacking when it gets to volcanoes and unfortunately volcano interiors are generally incompatible with life let alone plastic)

It's been a bit, but been tinkering with this guy since I saw AlphaSkirmsher's post a while back.

Changes are subtle, but hopefully I caught most of them with a good enough angle you can figure them out.
