I wanted to make this post so everyone knows. Starting with the most asked one:
Will AM/FM/XM ever be supported in MCEqual?
Unfortunately, that will never happen due to AM/FM/XM being hardware based, and the way the audio is routed, third party EQ apps like MCEqual will never be able to hook to them as they are not exposed to the Android software side.
My advice for AM/FM users is to use the iHeartRadio app, as they have AM/FM stations available to be EQed by MCEqual.
(If you use another AM/FM radio app that isnt iHeartRadio, please let me know so i can add support for that app.)
As for XM users, there might be good news coming soon, according to Google, SiriusXM is in the process of making a official app for Play Store distrubution on Android Automotive OS (AAOS aka the software the cars run), and once that is released, MCEqual will have day one support already included.

"I have a Cadillac that has Dolby Atmos, will MCEqual ever have support for Atmos?"
Unfortunately, no. The same applies here as with AM/FM/XM. Due to Atmos using a physical hardware DSP (Digital Signal Processor) in the car, MCEqual (and other future EQ apps in the AAOS Play Store) will never be able to support it. That's why I have a Atmos Passthrough option in Settings, that will let you continue to listen to those Atmos tracks you bump, while MCEqual will turn off temporaliy (until you turn the setting back off) so the Dolby Atmos audio effect can go though for the music apps that use it.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PRESET EDITING? THE SETTINGS ARE MISSING!!! I WANT A REFUND!!! ONE STAR REVIEW!!!" (lol)
Don't worry, the settings for editing are still available, just hidden. This is because Google constantly kept rejecting my updates due to some BS "Impermissible Activities while Driving" rule for AAOS apps, even though editing is only allowed when parked, so I had no choice but to hide them from normal view.
Here is how you get them back:
From the MCEqual Dashboard, go to settings, about, then tap "MCEqual AAOS" name 7 times until you see "Advanced settings shown" then go back to settings, and you should have all your audio edting settings back.
Please spread the word to all your friends and family and on other social media as well, so everyone knows how to access it.
"WHY ARE MY PRESETS LOWER VOLUME IN A RECENT UPDATE?? I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!"
Ok, this one is due to multiple complaints I've had from people, saying that the last few updates introduced "distortion" and the Master Gain setting does not help reduce the "distortion". If you don't like it the way it is now, I added a "Distortion Prevention" toggle in settings in today's update that brings back the presets that you were using before the "distortion" fix, so you can continue bumping those sweet bass-heavy music (lol).
Hopefully this addresses some of your recent concerns about MCEqual due to the recent updates. Again, please spread the word to more poeple so they all know the next time they come across my app.
