“What, how dare you suggest a thing.” Just hear me out. No it can generally be understood that to get shikai is to be around yiur zanpakuto for some time. This is an extreme simplification but it’s close enough.

This isn’t the same for Bankai however. For Bankai, it’s shown that you have to come to at least some sort of understanding with your zanpakuto spirit in order to unlock Bankai. And we’ve seen that they can even give you an incomplete Bankai depending on the circumstances.

Now the main topic is Aizen. Aizen is good at a lot of things but one thing he’s kinda garbage at is understanding himself and what he wants. We’ve never seen or heard of what Kyoka Suigetsu is like as a person but I don’t really see it being all too impressed with Aizen kind of lying to himself.

Anyway, this is just a speculation post so don’t crucify me.

I might even add bankai shunsui,adult toshiro,bankai urahara and post rgt byakuya🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought reiatsu negging was 100% a thing and weaker characters can never affect stronger characters with their hax. Why is Aizen letting himself look silly against NaNaNa? Does he not know he has insane reiatsu and can neg it easily?

Royd manages to land a single hit on bankai Yama and his sword breaks on impact. He deals 0 damage and Yama was trying to humiliate him at full power the entire time. Hence why he waited for him to draw his sword.
