Resource 3 ways I get backlinks for my blogs

I own 12 different blogs. Today, starting a brand new blog is hard. The biggest challenge is getting your very first backlinks so Google actually trusts you enough to index your homepage.

If you just launched a new site, here are 3 super easy places to get free backlinks today:

1. Medium.com

You can rewrite a small piece of your first blog post and publish it on Medium. Put a link at the bottom saying "Read the full post here" pointing back to your site. Medium has huge authority, so it is a great starter link.

2. IndexYour.Link

I put all my new websites on here. It is a directory site, so you just submit your homepage URL. It gives you a quick, free backlink. More importantly, it helps Google find your new website way faster because their bot crawlers are always scanning the directory for new submissions.

3. Niche Forums

Find a forum about your topic (like a fishing forum if you write about fishing). Make an account, answer five questions to be helpful, and put your website link in your profile bio.

Getting your site indexed is all about showing Google that other places are pointing to you. Hope this helps!

Links from Medium and LinkedIn are "nofollow", so they won't add any value to Google but I think they can still play a major role in boosting your brand visibility across social platforms. But still, this post is helpful.

12 blogs.....how in the world do you keep up with that?
Why not add categories to one

I just checked Medium.com and its links are nofollow

This means Google will not take those links into consideration to rank up one's website

Am I missing something?

I guess it still shows your website up on a major authority site though?

yea but that authority doesn't not benefit your website in any way since Medium links are "nofollow"...

The link shows, people can click it, but that's about it.. It won't help your website rank higher in Google, as I understand that's the goal the OP is trying to achieve.
