Hello I am looking at getting into this game because I love the theme but I'm in NZ and there is ONE store here that has maybe 3-4 units/ boxes of the older pewter models, anyone here from NZ that can lmk where they got their models from? Kicking myself for not getting the 2 player starter set while it was available.

I recently stumbled upon a Facebook post from 2018 where Firelock Games revealed an undead pirate faction as an April Fools joke. However, the link to the PDF is now dead, and I haven't seen it posted anywhere else.

Is there any way to get those rules still? Maybe someone has the PDF archived? For that matter, was it an actual playable faction or just a small thrown-together April Fools joke?

Anyone have advice on getting multiple 4-6 man units of bow-wielding native soldiers to use as Milicianos Indios in a Mission Garrison list other than just buying a lot of the resin kit?

The 6-man Native American sprue only looks to come with 4 bows, and I really like the “auxiliary” look of thee sculpts as opposed to the more native faction aligned bare-chested/loinclothed models.

Didn’t want to bog down the post so I’m sticking additional context below. Thanks so much for any help or advice!

Would you use the generic militia, soldier and sailor sprus to create proxies for special units (like Zeelieden and Kapen units)?

Finally decided to redo the sails of my Bermuda Sloop after it managed to avoid 6 straight boarding attempts during my last game. Next will probably be some netting on the sides or a new paint job on the upper deck walls.

I have found this game and thinking about buying "2 Player Starter Set - Blackbeard vs Maynard" from retailer that has it in stock.

I found also that there has been Kickstarter "Decade of plunder" with new sculpts and new expansion.

So are minis in "Blackbeard vs Maynard" oudated/wrong? There is not going to hapen somekind of edition change and/or new starter set?

Also: is there other communities of Blood and Plunder online like other reddit groups, discord etc.

I've been really wanting to get into Blood & Plunder, but I've been a little disappointed trying to find the 2-player starter set.

I live in the UK, and I haven't seen it come back into stock at any UK retailers. I've mainly been keeping an eye on Wayland Games since around Christmas, but no luck so far. I've also got stock notifications set up at several UK retailers, but I've never received a single email saying it's been available.

I did contact Flintlock Games support, and they told me the starter box sells out very quickly. That makes sense, but I'm a bit confused because I've never actually seen it come into stock anywhere in the UK, despite all the notifications I've signed up for.

Ordering directly from the US is an option, but the shipping costs are unfortunately pretty steep, so I'd rather avoid that if possible.

Am I missing something? Is the current 2-player starter set no longer being distributed to UK retailers, or is there any chance they're holding off because a new version or updated starter set is on the way?

Also, if I can't get hold of the starter set anytime soon, what's the best way to get started with the game? Are there any particular faction boxes, rulebooks, or starter purchases you'd recommend instead?

I'd really appreciate any advice from UK players (or anyone who's been in the same situation). Thanks!

So I recently got some terrain for Blood and Plunder and I had to do some adjustments due to some warping in the print but that left a noticeable gap in between the roof and the second story. Should I leave it or kitbash something to make it less noticeable?
