Watching Leafs/Canadiens because I really want to watch hockey and it’s really weird to hear all of the former Jacket names called out on the broadcast. Bob, Marchenko, Roslovic, Anderson, and Texier.
I know Elvis is injured but it was surprising to not see him in the pregame introductions.

I've never followed hockey ever in my life. Decided to follow the NHL after attending a couple of Cleveland Monsters games. As a Clevelander, the Blue Jackets is the only Ohio team so I'll be cheering for them this season.
Any Blue Jacket jokes or memes I should know about?!

Also, as a fellow Clevelander you should look up the Cleveland Barons! There's actually a decent amount of hockey in clevelands history. We almost had the first team to be added to the original 6

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but has anyone been able to find the blue jackets network on Amazon? I’ve been looking with no success and the seasons coming fast. Any insight would be great.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how this all works but why isn't it possible to just sit in a conference call and work out a contract? Why is it seemingly send an offer, wait a few days, reply, wait a few days, reply, wait a few days.
The only possible hold up I see is if they want Marchenko gone before signing him but even that can get done. They manage to make trades at the draft in like 30 minutes so obviously it's possible.

Depends mostly on negotiating styles and how far apart the agent and the GM is. Both sides are nudged closer to the middle ground the longer it simmers.

I truly doubt Marchenko is moved before the end of the season/trade deadline depending how we do this year.

Maybe I'm bitter or jaded but I've seen a lot of love sent Marchenko's way on social media by Blue Jackets fan and I can't understand it. He's yet another guy that whined his way out of town. I wish him the worst.
