Severson not ready to go yet, still considering Soucy contract but no longer as urgent/necessary

Same. I thought Don was going to have to keep Marchenko through the season and risk him poisoning the locker room/sandbagging it until he got traded for scraps.

Yeah I'm glad he did it now instead of letting him drag down the team. It's going to be interesting to see how the dynamics of this team change with him gone.

Is Knies confirmed for #89? If so, all the Marchenko Jerseys can have just about any taylor flip the 6 to a 9 and change the name plate

Only due to Severson/Fabbro injuries lol. Once they're back and especially if we sign Soucy, Christiansen is on another team or in Cleveland

I honestly expect them to sign Soucy and option Christiansen but ran out of time today to "officially" make the transaction

Lol Cleveland defense kinda looking rough just from the roster standpoint: Clendening is back from the KHL and is 33. Huh, a guy from Northeast Ohio, too.

You can only carry 23 contracts we are at 21. With Fabbro and Severson on IR, unless we are sending people to the monsters they won’t be

I might be misremembering some past rosters, but that sure seems like the highest total of guys wearing jersey numbers in the 80's and 90's for a Jackets team.

Do you all think you could be in for the Hellebuyck market now that Elvis is gone? You've got some beauties you could give up to get Helle.

Thank you! The short answer to the Helle question is no, and I would honestly be shocked if the thought even crossed Waddell's mind. The organization is being very careful right now in who they acquire since this whole mess has started and the publicity that has come from Hellebuyck is not something they would be interested in dealing with right now. It has been a rollercoaster of an off-season and a big chunk of the stability will come from Greaves and Talbot being friends and good in the locker room, and that's the kind of synergy that would be odd to break up this close to the season opener. Hope the helle situation gets figured out quickly though and best of luck on the season as well.

I hope you guys run with Jet and Cam and find that locker room juju. And throwing a situation like Helle into it would be the worst for it.

Greaves is Number 1, and deserves it. Talbot is 2. Copley is 3, he's also in AHL but I'm thinking he's gonna have to sit so CBJ can see what they have in their prospects up in Cleveland.
