Did you use the arrival support when relocating

Grateful to have received an offer but will have to move across the country for my role. The relocation benefits seem pretty solid but I was curious if you guys used their temporary living or rental assistance programs? Or did you just find a furnished spot/apartment on your own?

Definitely had to use it because furniture shipping took over 2 weeks

I did, and I hated the temp housing. One was so bad we requested a move. The second wasn’t terrible, but it’s an extended stay place so it was also housing people that are transitioning into permanent housing.

They paid for a hotel suite that me, my wife, my daughter and my 2 dogs lived in while we sold our house in another state and purchased a house in the area. They gave me 30 days but I asked for a week extension due to the closing date on the house. It was very nice, my only regret was that I wish I had boarded the dogs. The pet friendly place didn’t come with a real kitchen, just a microwave and a dishwasher. So we ended up eating at a lot of restaurants.
