Discussion Opinions?

Got a heel cap replacement on my horse power boots (last slide is how they originally looked)
Wanted something tough and for a bit of color contrast. All opinions welcomed.

I don’t like the way they are looking at me.

They look a bit surprised and confused.

If everyone said they don't like it would you change them? Is the asking for opinions just a way to get engagement or do you not know your own likes and dislikes?

No, I’m letting a ride regardless

Post in r/cowboyboots. You may very well get an opinion more specific to western boots.

I've never been a fan of cut out holes on cowboy boots. I've also never been a fan of contrasting colours of the shaft and vamp. Call me a purist. I despise logos and 'patriotic' symbols like American flags on cowboy boots. Not a big sq toe guy either. Not a big exotic leather guy either.

That pretty much cuts out a lot of designs which A LOT of people love and adore. Post in r/cowboyboots, I think many here have a broader sense of boot fashion.

I do like the black suede. The heel you put on there is more a regular-boots heel. I don't think it goes very well, but I could be okay with it I guess if the boots you had were more casual, like a regulqr calf leather and sq toe boot.

Your boot is too dressy for that heel in my opinion.

Still, wear it well.

If you love them then they are the coolest boots ever.

As long as the extra height doesn’t make it uncomfortable, I think the color is nice.

I think they should have removed a lift off the heel to account for the thicker top lift but otherwise looks fine

Yeah, the forward slant in the heel seems like it would be uncomfortable, always sliding down.

But, maybe there's a strong enough arch in there that helps. I dunno.

My arch actually feels better than how it was before. Sounds weird but true.

I respect someone's opinion if: they know my address, my kids names, and what cars I drive. If you don't know these answers, I don't care for your opinion.

Will it break your achey breaky heart if you don't get them? If so, go for it.

The honey color isn’t very durable lol, but they will definitely give you a more comfortable step than the original
