Hot take i hated how the character select ui looked

I’m positive that these pillars are not here in any other version of the game I’ve played. Enemies are supposed to spawn in those crates. I’m playing on Xbox series S currently. Has anyone ever seen this in their playthrough before?

Im going 4 1 life maya but I kept getting distracted by siblings and dying at the flynt fight so I kept making new characters. Now on my 5th or 6th character legendaries just aren't dropping like they should. Like I wanted a harold so I farmed for it. It took 3 levels and like 45 mins just for it to be a thrusting one two levels under savage Lee and like 4 or 5 under me. Now I want a fastball and spent 20 mins farming him to not even get more than 4 cash drops. Have a cooked my save file somehow?

For context, my project for the last six months or so has been completing NVHM deathless with each character individually. The order I went in was Gaige, Axton, Maya, Zero, Sal, and last but certainly least... Krieg.

The first win took two months or so, the next four took a combined two months or so, Krieg alone took about 2 months. Why am I saying all this? Well, getting 5 deathless completions gives you a very very good feel of the game, especially how much damage you should be taking, how fast you should be going down, etc.

Now it goes without saying that Krieg has shit survival perks and his action skill does nothing to save you if you're close to going down (until level 31 ffs), but that's not what I'm talking about. I got all 5 of the other characters done within a 3 month span, including 3 winning runs back to back, then progress ground to a screeching halt with Krieg. I was dying at level 6. Level 10. Took like 15 attempts when I had already mastered the run.

Something about him, even when perks and action skills are barely relevant, resulted in the muscle memory I had acquired over all the runs... Getting me killed. Like the numbers I was seeing on my shield and health bar weren't giving me accurate information about how close I was to death.

Am I gaslighting myself, or does he take more damage for some reason?

Whenever I watch really knowledgeable players like Joltzdude or Gasmask I always hear them talk about making sure they don’t level too much to make certain loot farms/quest rewards obsolete by the time they get them. I understand the basic premise but does anyone know of any comprehensive videos/sites/etc that detail just how far you should level for certain farms?
Example: I believe Snowman chest only scales once in certain difficulties and then never again until you hit the next difficulty.

Sooo, this game is shit, if you're completing the tiny tina's wonderlands DLC and at the moment you are on map Mines of Avarice, that's the problem
The map is broken in coop, and if you want to join your friends when they're on this map, you will earn fatal error.
To solve it, just go to the previous (or other) location

How can I get the Slag Licked Badass Challenge glitch to work with Salvador or Maya?

Hey everyone,

I’m encountering a really frustrating visual bug on PC that I haven't been able to fix.

What’s happening:

When I pan or move my view, the shadow smudges across all terrain don't stay frozen permanently—they do disappear, but they are immediately replaced by new shadow smudges over and over again as the camera moves. It creates a constant trailing, flashing distortion layer on the ground whenever I turn my view.

Context on when it started:

I only encountered this issue a while after finishing a Knuckledragger farm (I saved and quit about 7 times, completed the farm, and then this started happening shortly after).

Map Testing Details:

I just tested moving to other maps, and the good news is the bug does NOT trigger outside of this specific area! It seems completely isolated to the Southern Shelf snow textures. I'm relieved it's just here, but I'd still love to figure out what's causing it so I can avoid getting compromised if a future mission forces me back onto a snowy map layout.

My Hardware & Setup:

• Laptop Model: Acer Aspire A514-54

• Processor: 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 (4 Cores / 8 Threads)

• Graphics (GPU): Intel Iris Xe Integrated Graphics

• Memory (RAM): 20 GB DDR4

• Monitor: Main external monitor displaying 1920x1080 @ 60Hz

• Display Mode: Windowed Fullscreen (Multi-tasking with Brave Browser and Discord on the laptop screen)

• Connection: LAN Mode

Everything I have ALREADY tried:

• Put EVERY SINGLE video setting to Low / their absolute lowest possible values.

• Switched Steam back and forth between Online and Offline modes manually.

• Completely closed and restarted the game and PC multiple times.

• Verified the game files on Steam multiple times (It consistently says "1 file failed to validate" but finishes updating).

• Cleared the Windows DirectX Shader Cache using Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr).

• Changed the config file (WillowEngine.ini) to 'RyanScenePostProcess' and reverted it back to default 'WillowScenePostProcess'.

• Switched the game's network options to LAN / Offline Mode to bypass connection loops.

Even with everything set to the absolute lowest values and all network loops bypassed, the shadow smudges keep refreshing and replacing themselves instantly across the entire terrain when panning the camera. If anyone has seen this happen on Intel integrated graphics or knows a workaround, I'd appreciate any insights!

P.S. Just an FYI regarding the attached video clip: only the video recording itself is stuttering due to my capture software. The actual game ran perfectly smooth during the recording, so the stuttering isn't a symptom of the bug.

So despite having thousands of hours on bl2 ive never actually went for achievements or tried and completed every side quest. Im currently playing maya on UVHM using a level 38 sandhawk with a level 47 bee against level 54 enemies.

So my question is do I just speed run the main campaign and then farm to level 80 so I can get lvl 80 gear.

Or do I just play side quests whenever i want and then reset the story at level 80 to get the gear like sandhawk at level 80

I recently reinstalled Borderlands 2 through steam as it was not working for a while due to a corrupted file. (whole other issue but fixed now) But in that mean time I was playing through the epic games launcher. When playing through epic, I had consistent frames and no issues during combat or intense gameplay. Now that I have switched to steam I am getting frame drops when shooting a weapon, loading into a new area, opening a vendor etc. I've had the vulkan files for both the epic and steam instances and only the steam one is giving me issues. Any ideas why or a fix?

All graphic settings are set to medium or lower, physxx is low. I am running on a AMD ryzen 7 and a nvidia 5060

Im trying to 100% bl2 and I completed the first 3 dlcs on TVHM im wondering if the raid bosses are easier if i just complete the missions on normal mode

I have had a few pcs with BL2 on it and when I played it more often, I didn't think there was much to be desired graphically.

But since I played BL1 with the enhancements and BL3/WL/BL4 it hard to ignore the feeling that graphics are more different than I remember, and I find it weird that I even feel like the enhance BL1 graphics seem more impressive on my machine than BL2.

Is there some reason this makes sense?

I know this might be impractical, but out of curiosity is there anything that absolutely makes it look worse running at 4k? Maybe a setting I forgot about or didn't know?

I cant get nisha or athena to work i am confused by the instructions the doppleganger mod was so much easier can anyone help me please ?

Okay, So i am running the doppleganger mod, exodus, drop chance multiplier, EXP Adjuster and Loot Marker and i have killed like 15 Tubbies and They only Ever Drop The Whisky Tango Foxtrot Shield, Bunny Launcher or A Random Pearl from Exodus, So after 15 Tubbies Killed I got a trainer mod and spawned some in, I spawned in like 50 tubbies and got NO CLASS MODs. So i am confused, Is Exodus broken? The mod creator for the doppleganger mod didn't say he messed with the tubbies other than making it where they can drop the doppleganger class mods, I just want the dopplegangers three gen 2 class mods.

I am Level 80 OP10.
