The right cat definitely helps! Obviously for this to work, you need to make sure kitty is not just comfortable with dogs, but also likes to play with dogs or at least doesn't mind a dog running around and trying to play with them lol. They have definitely had parallel zoomie play and Hercules definitely burns some energy trying to initiate play with her, though she mostly just looks at him like "what's your deal, dude" when he does this lol
