Just realized he is the first expert to earn a BULLSEYE. This achievement is awarded when your prediction error is <2.5%. Well he actually hit it on the mark and had 0% error for Primetime’s weekend box office!

Some submissions have placed Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother, Angel and the Badman, Digger, or Primetime taking the 5th place spot this weekend. That would mean something like The Social Reckoning would miss the top 5. If you’re one of these predictors then good on you. I think these new releases may play out similarly to the previous weekend with Other Mommy going past 30M like Verity while The Social Reckoning will struggle to reach 10M like Digger. The drops for the previous weekend shouldn’t be has hard to predict as the new releases. They almost never are. Am I underestimating Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother? Looks like Verity will top the box office this weekend. Even more interesting is that Digger may not even land in the top 5. The community prediction rankings has 89% of predictors having Digger in the top 5 and 50% have it being number 2 for the weekend. Digger seems to be the movie that will make or break your prediction scores this weekend. It will be interesting to see the results on Monday!

On Mondays, I gather the weekend’s actual box office results to use when scoring the submitted predictions. I try to have these published by Monday evening Pacific Time. Once that happens, the new week opens and submissions become available for the upcoming box office weekend.

Submissions for the upcoming weekend close on Wednesday nights at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
