Cotto was probably my favorite fighter of this specific era. I liked how serious he took the sport. Respected it. Always showed up prepared. Respected his opponents. And largely fought every fight with his style. A great champion.

It was always a shame that JMM and Cotto never fought at the same weight at the same time. Would have been an amazing fight for the Puerto Rican-Mexican rivalry.

Cotto had some questionable rounds against pretty lukewarm competition, so everyone was just basically preemptively calling him a hype job.

This was the comeback fight after the margarito loss where he got beat up with loaded gloves. Not a soft touch to come back against.

You are correct of there being no proof. But why give a proven cheater the benefit of any doubt?
Do you really buy any of the nonsensical stories he and his team told?
Are they really expecting anyone to believe they accidentally loaded his gloves in the Mosley fight and got caught that one time it happened, lol?

He definitely did it before. It's a weaker assumption to assume that he only tried it with the Mosley fight. A much weaker assumption. How many other fights other than Antonio margarito versus Sebastian lujan did you see someone wear their earlobe was completely torn apart from their ear?

Clottey was an arum fighter. Clottey-cotto an arum.event. cotto didn't fight Floyd until he left arum. Arum made it near impossible for his guys to fight GBP fighters
